To be honiest. The Bellagio is an expensive, crowded, resort/casinohotel on the strip. Check-inn can cost you a lot of time. The walk from the reception to the hotel-elevators can be a hastle and service is directly translated in the amount of the tip you give. My wife and I stayed a couple of days in june in the Bellagio. Got a room in the westwing on the 16th floor over looking the pool and the city-projoxt. The room was nice, classic design and furniture. Bathroom also great, dark-marble, liked the ornaments and the walk-inn shower. The climate-controle was great, no sounds whatsoever. Coming fron the elevators, entering the corridor to the westwing. We both noticed a not so nice smell coming out of the service-room. Didn't like that.
Also didn''t liked the helicopters that came over the nice pools every ten minutes. Irritating. We had some meals in some of the numer of restaurants. Only the Bellagio cafe has good quality one-plate meals for afair price. Rest of the restaurants are simply expensive. Even the buffet, for which you've to wait sometimes more than an hour.
All in all; the Bellagio isn't the queen of the Strip anymore, but still an very nice princess.
The accommodationquality is still very high. The receptionhall with the glasswork, the conservatory, the fountains and the lake are special. So is Cirque du Soleils 'O'. What a show.
