well, where do i begin? we booked a 2 bedroom penthouse suite for 4 nights, during which we got married at the hotel in the East wedding chapel.
we booked direct with the hotel and got a great deal at $700 per night.
everything was perfect from start to finish!
the impeccable service began at the airport were we were met by our personal chauffer who transported us to the hotel by private limosine. we then enjoyed private check-in, at the executive lounge, where you can help yourself to tea, coffee, wine, cold drinks, chocolate dipped strawberries, cookies and muffins. The check-in staff were helpful and friendly and we were promply shown to our room on the top floor of the hotel. (room 36028)
this is where the magic really begins! the rooms were perfectly decorated in tasteful furnishings, with genuine murano glass pieces. we had 5 bathrooms in our suite, yes 5 haha! there was a guest toilet upon entry, plus each bedroom had a 'his an hers' bathroom. 'his' bathroom had a steam room and shower, and the 'her' one had huge jacuzzi tubs. they also had flat screen tv's in each room and bathroom. the beds were huge and extremely comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. each of the rooms had floor to ceiling windows with amazing strip views overlooking the fountains and electric drapery, which was fun.
the lounge area had a large corner sofa and a separate dining area which seated 6 and a media center connected to the plasma tv, which had a station that played the music to the fountains right into your room! there was also a printer and wi-fi which came in handy during our stay.
my husband was delighted to find a bar area with seating and a fully stocked fridge with an array of spirits, snacks and soda.
each night we had turndown service, and slippers and robes were left by the beds. we also came back to a box of chocolates one night!
the room service was professional, the food yummy, the menu vast, and no request was too much for the staff, they couldn't do enough for us.
we didnt wait longer than 20 minutes for any food order, even during breakfast hours.
for the size of the hotel, you would expect to feel lost in the crowd, but the personal attention we received and standard of service was outstanding.
we also had our wedding here-ive done a separate review for that.
basically, if you go to vegas i couldnt recommend this hotel enough. we visited most of the other hotels and they all seemed so dirty and smokey compared to the Bellagio. it has a particular ambience throughout, even the restrooms were spotless.
Of course, you will pay for it, and believe me its not cheap, but if you're going to stay in a 5 star hotel there's no point getting a standard room. live a little and splash out on a penthouse suite overlooking the famous fountains which are spectacular- you won't regret it!
