Really great choice in Las Vegas. The price was great, staff helpful, comfortable rooms, good casino. Really hard to come up with any complaints about the hotel. Oh, and the location is really great too. We had a great time!

“The Best Value for Money Deal”

Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon

We stayed there for 3 nights the first weekend of April on this our first trip to Las Vegas, and that was the best decision of the whole trip! In a place where everything is big, big, big, Bill's was nicely scaled, intimate and quaint with its lovely stained glass windows in the lobby, dining areas and even in the bathroom! It has character and an old world charm about it, and is thoroughly efficient for commuting purposes whether from hotel to The Strip or from lobby to room.

My husband and I visited some of the "biggie" hotels - Bally's, Mandalay Bay, Bellagio's, etc and in these places, even though you pay top dollar for the room rates relative to Bill's, there were long queues of hotel guests waiting to check in. By contrast, we did not have to wait to check in although it was full house at Bill's, and the receptionist very kindly switched us to a quiet non-smoking room on the 4th floor at our request.

Highlight of our stay there was Big Elvis at Bill's Lounge who performed to a standing room only crowd that Mon afternoon I was there. This guy has had his contract extended through 3 management changes, and has become an attraction in his own right.

Bill's has changed hands a couple of times in the last few years, and is now owned by Harrah's. I sure hope the company does not tear down this gem of a hotel in the heart of The Strip and replace it with one of those pretentiously-themed behemoths that Vegas is noted for. In a land of giants, this boutique-like hotel is a find, and a landmark, and should be jealously guarded.

“Best value, location, and service!”

Our main purpose for choosing Bill's this trip was due to it's ease of accessibility from the strip directly to your room without walking 1/2 mile or more to get to the elevators! Not to mention the great price of the rooms, and the fact you're in the middle of the strip. We were NOT disappointed in Bill's in anyway.

The bed was better than ours at home. When the bathroom faucet was malfunctioning the first morning, we mentioned it to the hotel desk clerk when we went down for breakfast and it was FIXED by the time we went back upstairs about 30 minutes later. We also appreciate the fact that you don't have to fall over strollers or dodge little ones in this hotel or casino. I did not see one person under the age of 21 while we stayed there. As a grandmother, I have NOTHING against children, I just don't believe there's a need to have toddlers and babies in Vegas.

We WILL stay at Bills again... possibly in two months, as we just learned upon our return today, our son and his girlfriend would like us to accompany them!

“Couldn't fault it!”

From the moment we drove in from Flamingo, it was all good. Check-in staff friendly and helpful. My son was upgraded to a partial view room, and we moved to a good view room for the $20.
Rooms were quite large and well-appointed. Casino had much more of a buzz than others, a great atmosphere.
Parking was never a problem and there were evident security staff in the car park. Our 4th fl room was not unduly noisy- interesting for a Brit to find that the floor at ground level is the ground floor, as in UK, so 1st floor is one up (like here in Britain). No idea why!
Location is of course the best for Strip access in any direction.
Loved the opening window in the bathroom -so much better after a shower to simply let the steam out.
Rates reasonable for a premium week and they honoured a website rate reduction with no problem.
Long may it stay in business.

Booked to stay at Bill's a week prior to arriving so was pleased to get 2 rooms for 4 nights including a weekend stay.
Rooms are large and well presented - beds very comfortable and clean. Perfectly located right in the centre of the strip.
We stayed on the top floor and had non-smoking rooms overlooking the Flamingo Hotel next door. Didn't have any trouble with noise from the strip at all.
Enjoyed the entertainment here, Big Elvis and a group called Front Page were very good.
We had previously visited Las Vegas 5 years ago and stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel at the top of the strip. Very, very glad that we were at Bill's this time as when we visited the Stratosphere, the surrounding area was very run down and a lot further out than we remembered. Also, the deuce buses running up and down the strip were very busy when we used them - standing room only.
We also found that the monorail stations were a long walk from the strip so unless you need to go from one end of the strip to the centre or the other end, it is just as easy and quicker to walk.
Las Vegas is currently undergoing a lot of change with lots of building work to provide timeshare apartments - every hotel we went into offered us free show or dinner tickets in exchange for a timeshare presentation.
Would recommend Bill's for location and value.
