We got a great deal, coming from Boston, only $741.00 for both of us for 5 days/4 nights. After reading a lot of really awful reviews about the hotel, we talked about changing our plans, but then decided
we would give the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood a chance. I have to say we
are glad we did. The lobby is gorgeous, there was a long line at check in, but it only took us 10-15 minutes to check in. No upgrades,
but we were very happy with our room. The casino has been all done over and it is very nice. We've read a lot of reviews about bad experiences with too much construction going on, but we didn't experience any of that. We have also read about being bothered by time share people in the hotel and in the mall. We were approached a couple of times in the mall, but never in the hotel. The food in the buffet was very good. We did go to V-The Variety show which was very good. I won tickets to Stomp Out Loud, unfortunately the show was sold out for that night and we were leaving the next day, so we gave the tickets away. I am planning to go back to Vegas next April, and I will definitely check this hotel first

I have stayed here twice now for quick business trips. The rooms are very nice- beautiful bathrooms with separate showers and large tubs. Room service was fast and the food was good. The attached mall is nice too. Check in and valet were pretty quick.

We had two rooms (connecting) for two nights. Despite rebuilding, check-in was fast, the rooms good and quiet and express check-out using the TV worked fine. Only comment is to make sure you use the valet parking. The self parking is far away from the reception, taking you through the shopping arcades.

We just returned from staying there an entire week w/ my family. 6 nights total. Tale of 2 stories.....Some aspect were real positive some real negative.

Front Desk - 5 out of 5
Concierge - 1 out of 5 - serious attitude problem
Housekeeping - 1 out of 5 - bathroom not cleaned daily/1 hour + delivery for extra blankets, etc.
Casino - 4 out of 5 - small but nice dealers
Buffet - 4 out 5 - real accomodating.
Elevators -suck

Major construction going on across the street and everything can be heard every night.
