My husband & I stayed at the Aladin Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas October 10 thru October 14 2005. From check-in to check out the hotel staff was pleasant and the hotel was a great place to stay. The room was impecccable (although the beds a little uncomfortable), and the large tub, separate shower and separate bathroom facilities were a plus. My only hope is that when Planet Hollywood takes over next year that they continue to afford the service and comforts that the Aladin staff did. The machines were pretty loose and we had some success. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again. Also the Spa facilities were awesome and quite in line with the price of what you would pay to be pampered at any exclusive spa. Thank you Aladin for an enjoyable visit.

Stayed in the Aladdin for five nights in October. Large, comfortable room and very spacious, well-fitted bathroom. Location is excellent being in the centre of most of the larger hotels on the strip. Ate in the Zanzibar cafe several times and had some good meals there. Generous helpings at reasonable prices. Dessert Passage great for shopping. Large pool area but not much shade - maybe a few more brollies would be nice? Enjoyed our stay at the Aladdin and saw no evidence of any construction work going on in connection with the changeover to Planet Hollywood.

We made reservations at Aladdin at the last minute and got a large, clean room at a great price. The bathroom was huge, the room was comfortable and quiet. The brunch buffet at the Spice Market in the casino was underwhelming at $22 a pop. I was horrified to discover they didn't have a waffle station!!! Overall, I would go back again.

We stayed at the Aladdin on the nights of October 12 and 13, 2005. We were extremely happy with our room which had a king size bed, was non-smoking, with a desk and chair, as well as an easy chair, table, big armoire and T.V. There was lots of lighting with bed side tables and lamps beside the bed, the carpet was clean and the furniture was not scuffed or marred. The room even smelled good. The bathroom was wonderful with a big soaker tub, a separate shower and loads of counter space - it was huge and very clean with an assortment of toiletries as well as a shower cap, make-up mirror, dryer, everything you could ask for. We were on a three week holiday in the South West U.S. and the Aladdin was the 5th hotel we stayed in and the best of the lot. We wished they could have all been like the Aladdin.

The front desk and bell staff were polite and helpful - no problems or wait at checkin. We would definitely stay at the Aladdin again with no hesitation.

If I had to have anything adverse to say about the Aladdin, I would say that the prices in their coffee shop are too high. Go to Max's in the Desert Passage. Good food at reasonable rates.

My wife and I stayed for one night en route from Death Valley to Palm Springs.
We booked through Expedia in the UK at what seemed a very reasonable price. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Our only criticism, which has been said by others, is that it is a very long way from self-parking to the hotel's reception area and we had to drag our luggage through the (excellent) shopping mall and then the casino.
If Planet Hollywood can maintain the standards and value when they take over next year this will be a hard one to beat. It lacks the over-the-top grandeur of Bellagio or the Venetian but it is a fine base from which to explore the Strip.
