This was my first time staying in the Aladdin though I've stayed in most of the strip hotels over the years. What a wonderful surprise! It was such a bargain! Firstly, I slipped the desk clerk a $20 note to get an upgrade and I was put on one of the two superior floors[50 & 51]My room was 5163 overlooking the Bellagio and the Paris to my right hand side. I was able to use VIP services on the ground floor. I went there each morning for my coffee and a chat with the staff. They were so helpful and couldn't do enough for me. I would recommend people to do the same as it makes such a difference to the holiday. The desert shops are great and as well as the usual expensive places they had very reasonably priced shops too and a couple of excellent restaurants where you can get lunch for &6.
I ate in the buffet 3 times---twice for breakfast and once for dinner and it was well-priced. The food was excellent.
I also ate at the Wynn in their buffet and though it was pricey [$36 for dinner] it was well worth it.
Both hotels had excellent poker rooms and very friendly dealers.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
