My husband and I stayed for 7 days at the Planet Hollywood and was throughly pleased from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. Upon our arrival we were greeted by so many people with great customer service. We asked for a room upgrade and graciously given a room with a view of the Bellagio so we were able to watch the watershow every night from our room. The room was very spacious with a HUGE bathroom, a great wall unit with lots of drawers and a closet on each side. The bed was the best feature in the room. It was a King size bed that wrapped us up every night and put us to sleep. Our rooms were cleaned and restocked everyday by noon. We dined at several of the restaurants in the hotel and the service was always a 10 from start to finish. The casino was great with a fun and trendy environment throughout. The Mall was awesome and there were a lot of great deals. The ABC liquor store in the mall carries EVERYTHING so don't worry about forgetting anything, you can simply pick it up at the ABC store. We scheduled a Hoover Dam at the concierge's desk which turned out to be awesome. We paid for the standard tour and was kindly given the Deluxe tour which included a tour of the chocolate factory as well as a buffett lunch at a Hotel in Boulder City near Hoover Dam. My husband and I toured EVERY hotel on the strip and felt that Planet Hollywood was an excellent choice with a great price. People have compared it to Bellagio and Ceasars Place and that's unfair because they are two totally differnet styles. Planet Hollywood is trendy, classy and very upbeat where Bellagio and Ceasars are Classy, but not very Trendy and upbeat so it definitely depends on what you are looking for. The pool area at Planet Hollywood was nice and seems to be on the same lines as many of the other pool areas we looked at. Overall our stay was wonderful and we will be going back and staying at the Planet Hollywood Towers the next time. It's owned by Westgate and it's a 7 start hotel that opens in October. We toured it while we were there and it's MAGNIFICENT!!! Some people don't like to do timeshare presentations but if you aren't against it I would recommend you contact Westgate and purchase a tour package if you are interested in staying at the Planet Hollywood. Our 7 day stay only cost us $349.00 for 90 minutes of our time. It was well worth it!!!!!!

I stayed here for two nights (July 7th and 8th) as I was comped for previous play. I was given one of the standard rooms. Although nice, I wasnt terribly impressed. I found the front checkin desk impersonal. I also found the accomodations clean and modern, but too dark. I was glad that I did not pay for it but would consider elsewhere in Vegas if I had a choice.

Hotel was nice enough, what you would expect from any of the big casinos. But why does it take so long to check in? For a place that want's your money they are in no hurry to get you inside.

No problems recommending this place for a mid range traveller. Managed to get a good deal that included free booze and betting chips. Clean, functional and spacious rooms with a view of the Bellagio fountains. Staff were friendly and for value for money we were more than impressed with the standard of our room.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights, our room on the 29th floor had a great view of the Strip. A couple of items in our room were broken or not functional when we arrived, but a friendly maintenance man fixed them in short order. The room itself was a nice size, the bathroom large.

PROS: Price was very reasonable, location on the Strip is convenient, free bottle of wine or spirits each night of our stay.

CONS: Parking is difficult, although there is "free" valet parking available. You must pay $14 per day if you want internet access (or go down to the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in the Miracle Mile for free WiFi). There are no garden areas like many of the other hotels.

I guess my biggest gripe about Planet Hollywood is the architecture and interior design. They are trying to turn a themed hotel (the Alladin) into Times Square meets hip, sleek, and cool. That works nicely in the rooms, but not so much in the public areas. The street side of the hotel has got to be the ugliest on the Strip. The Miracle Mile shops are beginning to look like your neighborhood mall. I know the Moroccan theme isn't what PH wants and it was a little Disneyesque - but it was fun and it's becoming bland.

Other than that we were very satisfied at Planet Hollywood.
