This is the third casino I have visited in Las Vegas, and I picked it only because it was one of the few that I could book on-line through a third party site (for the price reduction) which allowed a Saturday check-in. So far it is by far the best that I have stayed in. I upgraded from the standard room to a resort room, and ended up with a room that had a fantastic view of the Bellagio fountains. The room itself was large and comfortable, with internet access (PC provided) for a small fee. The bathroom was also large and wonderfully decorated.

As for the rest of the casino, the Desert Passage shops offer a good variety of stores as well as a few restaurants and bars. I did not manage to try the supposed ‘best buffet in Las Vegas’ as the lines for it were always long. I did use the cafe which was perfectly OK, but nothing special.

I was really sorry to leave, and next time I visit Las Vegas I’ll be heading here again and asking for my room back!

I spent 1 night at the Aladdin in March, 2005 after searching for a good but moderately priced hotel on the strip. I did some research and then bid $60 on priceline and received the Aladdin. Free Valet made checkin easy even with an infant. I was upgraded automatically because I called and gave them my Starwood Preferred card. The room was a resort view and it was very large and very nice with 2 huge windows. My view was toward MGM not Bellagio but I was told these rooms are bigger and I would like it better and I did. Bathroom has separate dual sinks, nice deep tub with a separate shower and the toilet is in another separate room with a door. I only had one complaint and that was after I enjoyed a long bath, I noticed an odor in the shower but I closed the bathroom door and went to bed. The smell was gone in the morning. Express checkout was easy and valet was a bit slow but it is a huge hotel. I ate next door at the Paris buffet for breakfast ($13) and it was great. Go early to avoid a long line. I would not say the hotel is equal to a new Westin but it is nicer than an older Sheraton. If I had paid $150+ I would have not been as happy but at $60-$90 I think it is a fine deal. I understand it is changing to a Hard Rock and no one knows what to expect. P.S. I looked at the spa and it looked very nice but I didn't try any treatments. The pool was closed for winter but looked very nice too.

Have just come back from staying at the Aladdin. The hotel was OK but definitely not a 4 star when you see the Paris which is a five.

We were upgraded with seperate shower, sunken bath etc but round the back so the views were really disappointing.

Staff were friendly, clean sheets and towels every day which was good.

They said there buffet was the best in Vegas and we tried the Paris, Aladdin and Bellagio and the Paris was so much better than the others.

Dessert Passage was really good, loads of shops to chose from.

For a little bit more money wished we stayed in the Paris as Aladdin definitely not worth a four star.

Very nice place to stay. Huge shopping center attached to the hotel. You really don't need to leave the property for anything. Highly recommended.

Visited the Aladdin in December 2004 and wanted to share what a good find it was. We had visited the old Aladdin some years ago and decided to book a suite at the new hotel. The room was well above average with the most spectacular view. Be sure to ask for a room with the view towards Ceasar's Palace and not towards the MGM. Our view was of the Bellagio fountains and the Paris Hotel towards Ceasars and beyond. Exactly the same view at the Bellagio for a fraction of the price. I would also recommend dinner at Le Cirque, having tried the New York eatery, we dicided to try the Las Vegas version and were most impressed, excellent food with better service. Well worth a visit.
