My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Planet Hollywood. The bathroom was beautiful and we loved the soaking tub at the end of the day. The king-size bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. We booked a fountain view room and slept with the blinds open so we could wake up to the strip every morning.

Our room had paraphenalia from the Bette Midler movie "That Old Feeling" and a big 42" widescreen TV with a DVD player. OK, it might be a little cheesy, but this is Las Vegas. We never had any problems with housekeeping.

We found the best food bargain at Planet Hollywood to be the Earl of Sandwich. There are also two ABC Stores in the Miracle Mile Shops.

Would definitely stay at Planet Hollywood again (and again, and again...)

Everything at Planet Hollywood was done very well. The rooms were very comfortable. Casino had a good selection of games. The pool area needs alot of work-little or no ambiance-like being on the desert-couldn't imagine going to the pool in the summer! Overall, a decent hotel right on the strip

I have been in las vegas 4 times in the las 2 years and this was the wors experience. I had contacted the hotel to check how advanced the renovation was and they told me that 75% of the rooms were remodeled but when I got to the hotel and saw that my room wasnt remodeled I tried to change it and they told me that very few rooms are remodeled! And also they charge an extra fee if you have the chance to get one of the few remodeled rooms. All weekend was a nightmare due to the rude and inefficient staff. I think this is the worst hotel in Las Vegas. The Casino is very small, the only good thing about this hotel is the location, but it is not worth to stay at Planet Hollywood for that. The other hotels look way better. Dont make the mistake to stay at this hotel.

We contacted the Casino Host at PH to book our room. When we arrived, we requested a strip view but were told that since our room was being comped, he would not be able to accomodate us. (Actually, only the 1st night was comped. We received the casino rate for the other nights). The room was nice. It had a very large bathroom and 2 queen beds. We spent more time in the casino than in the room, so as long as it is clean we are usually happy. The bed was not the most comfortable, but again, we don't sleep much when we are there.

We have stayed at other hotels and we always gravitate back to the PH casino even when staying elsewhere. The players club seems to have the most generous comps. At our prior visit (Jan 2008) we received almost every meal complimentary. We also like the atmosphere and the video poker games have a better payout then other places.

We enjoyed all of the meals we had at the Spice Market Buffet (and used the 2 for 1 coupons we got with our free slot pull everyday). We also enjoyed sandwiches from The Earl of Sandwich and a late night snack at Planet Dallies.

You can't beat the location of Planet Hollywood and we would happily stay here again on future visits.

My husband and I stayed at PH the last weekend in April. Anyway . . . We have been to Vegas many times, and stay at a different hotel each time. My husband is 33 and I am 29 and we like a nice room, good casino vibe, nice sports book and close walking distance to everything. I was going back and forth betweeen hotels and we finally decided on PH. I have to say it was a good trip. We got a renovated room, facing the strip on the highest floor in the hotel (23rd, I think). We had to really negotiate for it at the front desk, but they gave it to us. We originally had the suite. Way more $ per night, but totally not worth the price!!! The suite we stayed in was clean, but not renovated, and the bathroom was huge - took up alost 40% of the room. Nice, but who needs such a big bathroom? We were pleased with our new room, which was a standard room, smaller, but still a decent size, cheaper, updated and a better value than the suite. Seperate room for toliet, glass door shower and separate tub. It worked out just fine. Beds were comfy. Purple towels were different, a unique touch. Save your $$$ and book a standard room.

Now on to the fun stuff . . . PH is in a very good location. It connected to the mall (you can literally walk from the casino floor into the mall), which as a shopper, I love. Lots of fun stores in mall, and a better selection than Fashion Show Mall, IMO. Short walk to Paris (literally right next door) and the Bellagio fountains. 24- hour Starbucks, right off the casino floor, which was great, husband loved it. Plenty of food options at PH, but I have to say we did not eat at any of them, excpect for Tropicana, in the mall. We just got salads and burgers, decent lunch. Went to Palms at the Venetian (good, as expected), and ordered room service a lot.

The vibe at PH is great. As someone in my late 20's, I loved it. Very upeat, but not too crazy, good music playing, but not too loud and stylish decor. I personally liked the layout of the hotel, you did not have to walk through the casino to get to your room. And I thought after a day of walking around, it was very easy to get around the hotel. Sorry, can not comment on the pool, my hubby and I are not pool people. But we saw the pool and it looked, well, "nothing to write home about", as my mom would say.
We saw all sorts of age groups at PH, but I would classify this hotel as best for someone under 40. The vibe is a little younger, IMO, but not as MTV-ish as the Palms. Never went to Prive, the club at the hotel, went to Poerty at Venetian instead (we always visit at least one club in Vegas).

We would I stay here again, probably, but only after we stay at a few of the other hotels on the strip because we like to stay at a different hotel every time. Gave 4/5 stars because no hotel is perfect, I am a picky hotel person and will probably never give a hotel 5 stars.
