Way back when....at 4 years old...no one has the same name as you...correct?? I believed in my heart as a little girl, Barry wrote the song Mandy just for me...well, until I went to school and 2 other Mandy's thought the same thing....broken heart at the age of 5. *sigh*

Got to finally, at age 40 see his show....nearly cried the whole time, it was GREAT!! Had 2nd row stage seats...unless you get 1st or 2nd row stage seats, I would suggest trying for 1st-2nd row floor seats...just as good imho. However, the all you want champagne and souvinir champaign glasses were the best!

He gets really close to you in the stage seating and even picks a few off the stage to interact with.

I've seen the show three times in Vegas and it is terrific. He plays a lot of his hits, some new songs, doesn’t take himself too seriously, and seems to be having a good time. Each show was quite different in song selection, with a few hits never changing. His voice is still solid and he connects well with audience.

Most questions I get about the show are in regard to seating. I've sat in the stage seats, second row center section on the aisle and front row on the right side of the stage.

At this point, they don't sell these tickets at a reduced price anywhere, so going direct through the Hilton is the best deal. If you call the hotel you can pick out your seats with some help from the operator. I like the aisle so I can drift a bit into it if a tall person sits in front of me. The stage seats were a bit of a disappointment. Though you are really close to him for a couple of songs, and you get all the free champagne you can swallow (that almost evened up the ticket prices in my case), he is in the center of the stage most of the time. The seats on the main floor were much better in my opinion.

If you don't have the need to get real close, you may want to try for front and center in the balcony. Those tickets are about half what they are on the main floor front sections, but for the finale where Barry is on a scaffold at balcony level, they are the best seats in the house. For the rest of the show, they are still a good view. The theater is not too big, it seats 1400, so there aren't any bad seats. I was front row main floor last time and made eye contact with someone diagonally across from me in the first row of the balcony and could read her expression, so they were not far away. I would take balcony over orchestra seating.

Another neat thing about the show is that you can take pictures. You can just about flash right in his face and he doesn't seem to mind. As long as you don't have some paparazzi style zoom lens, you can click away. I wish more performers would do that - the stage lighting is so blinding what's a couple extra watts?

Barry was good! It was an enjoyable concert and we had good seats in row E on the right aisle. Barry came over to sing on this side a lot and we were only about 10 feet away from him. He did some great songs, although I would have liked to hear some other things other the the40's, 50's 60's, etc. One of the best parts of the concert was when Barry and 3 other pianists from his band played the same piano, one right after another, on a song. It was incredible!!

The seats "on the stage" are not on the stage. They are raised and way off to the sides. They should be the cheap seats! They came with complimentary champagne and you could keep the glass. Whoopee. Not worth the price. AND if you buy the tickets thru his website and add a DVD to the ticket, you won't get one. No one there knows anything about it.

Barry Manilow rushed through the show. He sang fast. He walked fast. He talked fast. He sang covers of hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s fast. He sang only a few of his songs... fast. No encore, nada. Yep, NO encore! Not even a bow and a thank you! I guess we were supposed to be happy with the confetti that fell from the ceiling and the glow stick that they gave to everyone.

I have never been so disappointed in a performance in my entire life! Please don't waste your money. Even this "fanilow" thinks it is time for him to either retire or perform in a cabaret for a two drink minimum. He is being totally unfair to his fans and anyone else that spends any money for this shoddy performance. Shame on him...
