First off, let me say that i LOVE roller coasters. I did sit towards the back of the coaster but I must say this is the roughest roller coast I have ever been on. I couldn't enjoy it because I felt like i was being beat up. My head kept hitting side to side and I even started seeing "stars". Three days later I still can't turn my neck... it's definently and adventure and a cool idea, but it was a very uncomfortable ride and I would never get on it again.

You should definitely go on this short but fun ride! I would think that it's more fun to go at night because you can see the whooole strip from the top. It felt like you're about to slide out and fly over the strip!

My boyfriend and I went to Vegas over Valentine's weekend. I love roller coasters, so I had to try the coaster at New York New York. It is expensive at $14 to ride once and then an extra $7 to ride again. It is a pretty rough ride and I've ridden much better coasters, so I didn't think it was worth the money.

i love a good rollercoaster ride, and while i'm too chicken to ride the one atop the stratosphere, i was excited to try the nyny coaster. we actually lucked out and got the first seats, however the kid with his dad that was behind us shed some crocodile tears because he wanted to sit up front. so, we traded them seats. even from the second row, we really had a blast! i loved it! i do agree with other reviewers though when they talk about how rough the coaster is. my head was being shaked back and forth the whole time and the restraints killed my shoulders. after getting off the ride, i couldn't tell wether i felt good from the adrenaline rush or bad from feeling like i just got beat up! all in all, you've got to at least try it once!
