i love a good rollercoaster ride, and while i'm too chicken to ride the one atop the stratosphere, i was excited to try the nyny coaster. we actually lucked out and got the first seats, however the kid with his dad that was behind us shed some crocodile tears because he wanted to sit up front. so, we traded them seats. even from the second row, we really had a blast! i loved it! i do agree with other reviewers though when they talk about how rough the coaster is. my head was being shaked back and forth the whole time and the restraints killed my shoulders. after getting off the ride, i couldn't tell wether i felt good from the adrenaline rush or bad from feeling like i just got beat up! all in all, you've got to at least try it once!

I hated this ride so much! I definitely wouldn't recommend it. It costs 14 for a very short ride, and it makes your shoulders hurt....plus, it felt way too rough, and the feet restraint (that went all the way to the stomach area) hurt quite a bit as well when you got turned upside down.

After five trips to Vegas, my husband and I finally rode the coaster at New York New York. It was a blast! We have ridden many coaster, (seeing as how we live near Hersheypark, PA and ride them all there) and this was by far one of the best coasters I have ridden in a very long time! The only one better than this is Storm Runner in Hershey. It is worth the money. You can find coupons for $4 off per person on ebay and in the local booklets in Vegas. Even if you don't find a coupon, you must try it if you like roller coasters. You won't be disappointed!

This was definitely a rough roller coaster! I wouldn't have minded so much if it was just rough, but the shoulder restraints hurt! My shoulders were bruised & sore for a week after riding it. Keep in mind I am 42 years old, but I am a roller coaster rider! If they redesigned the shoulder restraints it might be a decent (yet still a little rough) ride. Regular price was $14 but I had coupons for $4 off each ride.
