Keep expectations reasonable and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this trip.

Matt was a great pilot and a wonderful host. His personality, choice of music, sense of humor, and knowledge of the canyon made our trip (very) worth while.

I did a TON of research on different touring companies out out to the Grand Canyon. Given that this was my first visit to the west coast, and I was trying to see all of Las Vegas as well, I had to squeeze as much in as possible in a full day trip.

I considered several companies, but settled on Maverick's Canyon Dream Tour based previous reviews of all companies.

The tour started with Maverick picking us up at the Venetian at about 6am before making several other stops on the way back to their headquarters. We checked in, weighed in and took seats on the plane out to the GC. From there, our tour started off with a beautiful 30-40 minute helicopter ride around the north and south rims of the GC. Our driver, Ed, was quite the narrator sharing the GC's rich history with us passengers. After the helicopter ride, we were bused to several lookout points in the GC. Robert, the driver, was always courteous and had a great attitude about making sure everyone had a fabulous time. All in all, there is no price tag on a trip of this nature and I'd recommend Maverick to ANYONE for ANY TOUR! I hope to bring my parents back next year as well :)

I really wanted to land at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and this was the tour to do. I cannot recall precisely the name of the particular tour but it was a full helicopter tour from Vegas, over Hoover Dam, landing in the Canyon for breakfast before flying back in the helicopter over the strip.

The advantage of this was it was helicopter all the way (not 10 hours in a coach!), fab modern helicopter with knowledgeable pilot, landing on the base of the canyon (an absolute must!) and all in around 3.5hrs!

This is a great way to see the canyon without spending all day on a coach. After passing the Skywalk, i would say don't bother and instead to the full helicopter tour - making sure to land - not just fly over.

My husband, daughter, and I took the Canyon Dream tour. We researched various tours and safety ratings before booking this one. It fit the bill perfectly. My husband needed assistance getting on the plane and into the helicopter. They couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. Such an unforgettable, beautiful day in our lives. Thank you, Maverick.
