I was invited by friends to stay with them this past weekend in Las Vegas. I'll start with the positives first, since it is limited. There is free wireless somehow, as I was able to find one or two connections, but wasn't sure if they belonged to the property or by their private residents. The rooms were big, but that's about it.

First all, much of the place looks like Section 8 material. While some of the units (particularly in the front) look all right in the outside, the units in the rear are straight up ghetto. The feeling you get there also by seeing some of the people makes you think this was a government housing project.

During the time there (thankfully only two nights), Someone on the top floor (we were staying on the second floor of three) would make a lot of noise. Very annoying. I'm surprised the cops didn't show up. As I said, the place did have room, though the rooms were probably subpar clean. Since we had a lot of people, I had to sleep on the floor, which sucked.

Would i come back to this? I'll take Motel 6 over this.

I booked the place through hotels.com, it was a crazy weekend with some major events going on and I couldn’t find anywhere else last minute. We arrived at 11pm, and there were 2 parties in front of the check-in line. The first party had some problems with their reservation through Hotels.com, took them about 30 minutes to solve to problem, then took them about 15 minutes to check in the next guest. When it was our turn, sure they couldn’t find our reservation. They said that is the problem between me and Hotels.com, and they insisted I should give Hotels.com a call to solve the problem my self. Finally, we got our room key, only to find out the unit they gave us was not cleaned and not ready to go. Then I had to drive back to the office, waited for them to find a clean unit, and got into our room at 1am. Very slow check in procedure, average 20 minutes per guest.
Room was ok. Everything was provided, but to the minimal required. For example, there is only one reading lamp in each room, and there is no other lighting feature in both rooms apart from that. The air-conditioning system was terrible, annoyingly loud. We had to turn it off to be able to sleep, and couldn't stay in the living room while it was on. It was just too loud. No remote control to both TVs. We stay on the third floor, no elevator. There was a bag of trash sitting in front of the unit below us when we arrived, was still there when we checked out 2 days later. My friend and I went shower at the same time in the separate bathrooms; both ran out of hot water when we were half way through. They also charge a $6.95 "resort fee" when you thought that you've paid in full to Hotels.com. Upon checking out, I questioned the staff about the air-condition system. He said yes, they knew the problem with that unit--and yes, they went ahead and gave us the room!!!

i went to Vegas for a weekend, for the price and commodity the place was great. We did not have any issues with the AC or the employee;s. We even lost our keys and they provided additional keys at no charge.

everything was cleaned and in a timely manner

OMG.... it was HORRIBLE!!!! First of all the check in lady was RUDE!!!! The workers suck they didn’t know what they were doing!!! The pool was dirty and looks like it haven’t been cleaned it forever!!! The picture on the website looks nothing like how it does in person!!! We were place in the back of the condo… which had no one near us placed us on the Third floor when we look out of our room all we see are shacks… to top it off its right near a railroad track so all we hear was trains passing by every ten minutes. All the rooms near us has “for rent” or “bank owned” signs. The place just had an overall creepy feeling to it. The inside was kind of nice but sucked because everything was broken including the closet door, dining table/chair. The whole room over all just felt cheap!!! There were roaches and mosquitoes when we first got there; there were no screens on the windows or doors. At night time when we got back to our place there was no lights in the stairway or hallways, so I walk around with my pepper spray out with in case something/someone pops out!!! OHH and the AC/fan blows warm air, lucky the weather was okay but still got hot!! (We didn’t want to open the windows since there was no screen; we didn’t want more BUGs to come in!!!) HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!

This was a very nice 2 bedroom condo. It was very clean and had a lot of amenities that I did not expect. There was complimentary detergent to wash your clothes in the washing machine that was in the condo. THere was also all sorts of kitchen appliances and dish soap for hand washing and also for the dishwasher. THe kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, baking pans and baking bowls. The living room came with a flat scren TV and hi-speed internet. This is a perfect place to spend private time, where you won't really be bothered. The staff was friendly and was always sure to check if we needed more towels or blankets and pillows. I stayed on the third floor due to the recommendations from other reviews. Please be advised that this is a condo so do not expect to be treated like a customer of a large hotel. I personally do not like to be bothered by room service or for my room to be cleaned daily. I prefer to clean myself. Your room will only be cleaned after you leave. There is no phone in the condo so be sure to have a cell phone. The location was great across the street from the Rio hotel. The pool area isnice but I didn't use it.
