My group of seven went to see Tony Danza in The Producers on Friday, Oct. 19 2007. We were thrilled to get great seats and enjoyed the show very much. Visibly posted in the lobby were "NO CAMERA" signs which most of the audience obeyed. During the curtain call a poorly behaved patron took a picture. While the cast was enjoying their applause and taking their bows Tony Danza saw the person with the camera, made a sneering face, gestured to the camera and turned on his heel and walked off the stage during the curtain call! We were shocked as well as the patrons around us. Several of the cast looked surprised but quickly filled in the gap where he was. The fellow cast members acted professionally even though it was a snub to them and the audience by Mr. Danza. What a shame his behavior put a damper on the show. ALL of the audience paid for their seats to see this show and it wasn't the fault of the vast majority that this one person used a camera. Just a thought here, isn't it the fans that make celebrities famous?
