We were umming & uurring about splurginig out the amoutn for the better trip but now we are soooooooooooo glad we did- it was so worth it!
We picked the grand canyon deluxe sunset landing with champagne picnic, we got picked up by a limo & taken to the airport, on arrival we did a safety video & check then off we went, it was so amazing- we have never been in a helicopter before so we were a little nervous but our pilot was amazing funny & knowledgable! We flew up over seeing bits of the strip & vegas then on to lake mead & hoover dam which was absoloutley amazing (there were only us 2 & another couple as we paid the extra money for the deluxe flight in our helicopter while other copeters were packed with 6 adults-bit of a squash it looked!! they went in the front on the way there & we would have the front on the way back). Then we went to the grand cayon i cant describe how amazing it was & to land was out of this world- we had a champagne lunch & wondered around taking pics, my partner also proposed to me on one knee there- so this was even more amazing!!!! We then boarded again as the sun was setting- the sights were amazing it was soooo gorgeous! Then we flew back right over the strip it was dark by now & all the lights of the city were beaming it was truely fabulous!!!
I would say to everyone upgrade the extra money is so worth it!!!!!!

Myself and my partner took the early morning champagne picnic tour to the Canyon on the 20/04 and would thoroughly recommend the trip to anyone considering it.
We were extremely impressed from the moment the limo picked us up from the hotel (exactly on time) to the moment we were dropped off. The whole tour ran like clock work and Sundance projected a very proffessional image.
The flight was excellent with lots to see on route and the canyon is truly stunning.
The only problem was that the audio commentry was not working in our helicopter but the pilot was very knowledgable and entertaining and pointed out everything of interest.
Overall an unforgettable experience that I would not hesitate to recommend.

5 adults on a family trip to the USA going on our first ever helicopter ride. It was the quietest time that we had on the whole trip. Picked up in a limo from the hotel, checked in and strapped into our seats all full of apprehension and if truth be told terrified. Well Amber you did a great job .... we are all looking forward to our next one! We took the Canyon Champagne Picnic tour from Vegas which departed from McCarran and on the way back flew back down the strip. Two for the price of one.
It was unbelievably breathtaking to land inside the Grand Canyon and to get a glass of champagne to boot!
We booked through Viator and got a really good deal. The staff at Sundance - Amber our Pilot, Andrew who checked us in, Lois that I spoke to on the phone and the two limo drivers Anthony & Mc? all made the day go smoothly and ensured we had a truly unforgettable trip.

We booked our trip with Sundance Helicopters, their website and brochure show their newest helicopter, this I feel is a mis representation as they on had one flying the other 7 we all old ones. I hope you dont manage to get the one with a tailplane number of 115 this is the oldest and slowest one in the fleet, we took off second from the airport and landed last, this gave us a much shorter time in the Canyon, we took of first and landed last. Their fleet is not as good as Maverick Helicopters, they have all new aircraft, I wish I had booked with them!
