I went on a Monday and Wednesday to hang out here for awhile.
Monday was an all Male deal- known locally as a gay night. Everyone was having a great time and the music was good.
Wednesday was a regular night for them....except with more drunk girls dancing on stage.

Yes, it's true. When the real dancers are not on stage horny bachelorette parties and girls who seem to really love "The Hills" hop on stage and dance until they are "asked to get off".

It's definately worth the wait to see the real burlesque show. The dancers are fabulous- they are really working!!
And the live band is great!

Didn't cost me a thing to get in and I had a great time.
I would definately make it routine place to visit next time I'm in town.

If you're going there to see a show, don't. We got there about 10:30 pm on August 18th and seriously waited until close to 12:30 or 1 am to see a "show". The dancer are talented acrobats, but it's not really much of a strip show at all. The "show" was only about 15 minutes, total. It really left us wondering why we didn't just go to a normal club, since that's essentially all it was. Don't waste your time - plenty of other fun things to do in Mandalay alone.

I thought planning a different type of night out would be perfect for our first time in Las Vegas. This is a burlesque night club. My boyfriend enjoyed it and so did I. We got bottle service and had a little area all to ourselves. Music played, we danced and watched the show. Very cool night out! Suggested as an alternative to just a regular club night out.

My wife an I checked out the FortyDeuce as part of our honeymoon celebrations, we were staying at THE hotel spo we did not have far to go...just as well. We did not go clubbing that often during our stay so the '40 was a change of scenery, however it is no where near as cool as teh original in LA. I visited that 3 years ago, it was bigger, the shows were better and the crowd is cooler. Do not dare pay a cover charge - if you are in the area go by during the day and pick up some free passes. Also watch out for the scam where you back-hand teh greeter to skip the queue....the club is not that good. And for God's sake don't waste your cash on a bottle table ($450 FOR VODKA !!) Vegas takes ideas from elswhere and copies them...usually very very well...sadly the Forty Deuce is not one of them
