Im not a theatre person but I did enjoy this show. However, compared to Blue Man and Ka....the only other vegas shows ive seen.....I was a bit bored. Dont get me wrong, it was first class, the stage, the acting, singing and music was incredible...I especially loved the music and the organ. The stage show is also very cool and something to see. What had me looking at my watch was the story itself. It felt a bit abbreviated, based on the vegas show....you never really know why Christine is drawn to the phantom...she just is. Towards the end the scenes seemed a bit long as well. But those are small things. Personally I like my shows with a little more noise and wow factor...(the opening scene with the chandelier was the highlight for me) I wouldnt go again unless I got a significant deal on tickets or to take family or friends. But its worth seeing if you liked the movie.

If you enjoyed the film production with Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler, then you will love this performance. I have seen no other production, play, film or book even except the most recent movie adaptation with the actors I mentioned earlier. I enjoyed the film, but the play production was much better. Something about seeing it play out in real life made it much better and more enjoyable. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of the recent film. My only issue was the Phantom's voice wasn't as enjoyable as Gerard's. It needed to be deeper and more powerful. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Great show, fantastic music only slightly spoiled by the couple behind us with Attention Deficit Disorder who complained the whole way through it and wondered if they could get their money back. I was hoping they would leave and felt like asking them to on several occasions.
We bought the cheap tickets from the ticket discount booths and there were loads of free seats so we ended up sitting fairly close to the stage which made it all the more entertaining!
The music was spine tingling so we'd really recommend this (unless you're the sort of person who talks the whole way though shows as you'll just ruin it for everyone else). We would go to see this one again!

The Phantom at the Venitian was absolutly incredible. My husband and I went because HE was the one who wanted to see it. We both thought that it was great and would definitely recommend it to others. Even if you're on a budget there is no bad seat in the house. It's a beautiful theatre with awesome effects and voices. The chandelier is in the way at the beginning of the show but it's for about 5 minutes. The show starts promptly at the time given. We are always early to things but for those of you who think that you have 5 extra minutes the show will start without you. We went to the 7:00 show and at 7:00 the lights dimmed and the show began. But, we were there about 35 minutes before showtime and we would rather have waited until closer to showtime because we weren't really doing anything so next time we'll be there 10 minutes till. GREAT SHOW!! GO SEE IT!!

Enjoyed this production very much. The chandolier bit, the fireworks, all of the specialized staging is done very well. There was some sort of stage problem about 3/4th's of the way through the show which meant about a 1/2 hour break. This loss of "momentum" if you will was disruptive in the feel and emotion of the show. It definitely was not the same afterwards. Many patrons came back in grumbling and carrying food and drink (lots of crackling plastic bags, rattling of ice, etc.) which was quite distruptive to the mood of the show, especially during quiet parts. The emotional and dramatic feel that had built up until the stage problem occurred was never quite regained, and I think the show and the audience suffered for it.

However, that said, it was a very good show. For me it was not as good as some others I've seen (like "Les Miserables"), but still it was still quite well done and was definitely worth seeing. The costumes are beautiful and the acting, singing and dancing were all very good (Broadway level and above).

Unlike other reviewers I'm not sure I can recommend seeing it over and over (unless you are a Phantom junkie), especially given the variety of other shows in Vegas, but it is still worth seeing once.
