Enjoyed this production very much. The chandolier bit, the fireworks, all of the specialized staging is done very well. There was some sort of stage problem about 3/4th's of the way through the show which meant about a 1/2 hour break. This loss of "momentum" if you will was disruptive in the feel and emotion of the show. It definitely was not the same afterwards. Many patrons came back in grumbling and carrying food and drink (lots of crackling plastic bags, rattling of ice, etc.) which was quite distruptive to the mood of the show, especially during quiet parts. The emotional and dramatic feel that had built up until the stage problem occurred was never quite regained, and I think the show and the audience suffered for it.
However, that said, it was a very good show. For me it was not as good as some others I've seen (like "Les Miserables"), but still it was still quite well done and was definitely worth seeing. The costumes are beautiful and the acting, singing and dancing were all very good (Broadway level and above).
Unlike other reviewers I'm not sure I can recommend seeing it over and over (unless you are a Phantom junkie), especially given the variety of other shows in Vegas, but it is still worth seeing once.
