The hotel is beautiful and very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The security is one of the biggest plus to stay in this hotel. The downside of it is the location. While it is walking distance to the MGM Grand, it is quite far of a walk to the main strip. However, it was not really a problem for us since the taxicab ride to the other hotels was not bad at all. There were plenty of taxicabs in all the hotels so we didn't have a problem going around. We will definitely use this hotel again. This is definitely a 4 1/2 star hotel.

I stayed at the MGM Signature for 2 nights (9/9-9/11) while attending a trade show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is a true luxury hotel - a genuine 5 star experience! The rooms are huge with a separate sitting area and a balcony. All of the materials in the room are of superior quality - from the high end bed linens and dark mahogony furniture to the eye pleasing wall artwork and the beautiful marble floors in the entry and bathroom. The kitchenette is a nice bonus. It has a fridge, blender, toaster and a cooktop stove! Plus it has all of the accessories needed to prepare a small meal - pots, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. Also, if you have an IPOD, be sure to bring it, because the alarm clock is actually a IHOME stereo system - just stick your IPOD in the top and you'll have digital quality music playing throughout your room. The oversized bathroom had double sinks, a jetted tub and a separate tiled shower. The hotel also provides great smelling June Jacobs tolietries - shower gel, lotion, shampoo & conditioner and they replenish them everyday, so you can take some home! :-)

The proximity of the hotel to the Las Vegas Monorail is really close - about a 5 minute walk through an enclosed walkway that connects the Signature to the MGM Grand. It was so convenient and easy to get to the Convention Center or anywhere else on the strip from this hotel via the Monorail.

Another bonus is that you don't have a loud, smokey casino in the hotel lobby - instead you'll find a lobby that is tranquil and smoke free. However, a five minute walk through the enclosed walkway will take you to the loud smokey casino of the MGM Grand. You really have the best of both worlds at the Signature.

Housekeeping and overall service was also outstanding.

I only paid $159 per night for my room (plus a $15 resort fee per night). For all I got at the hotel, that price is a STEAL!

Stay here when you're in Vegas, you'll be BLOWN AWAY!!

The Signature at the MGM Grand is really hip and swank. The crowd thst stayed there appeared to be mostly young professionals rather than the retiree makeup at the Four Seasons.

Although the Jr. Suites are large, comfortable, and nicely decorated, no two rooms are exactly the same. I wanted a room on a high floor in Tower 1 with a balcony and view of the Strip. The hotel said that there are no guarantees that they can accommodate my request and that any preferences were made upon check-in based upon availability. So, I took the advice of some on this forum and tried to book through an owner (VRBO #138814). The owner’s suite was everything I was looking for - it was located on the penthouse-level and can be had at a much lower price than if you were to book through the hotel. However, I was unable to book through the owner because the nights I was interested in were already taken. If you want to go this route, it may be difficult to book on short notice.

I ended up booking directly though the hotel and ended up being placed in the furthest tower with a view of the airport instead of the Strip. The hotel total ignored my request! They said it was a busy weekend and so they could not accommodate my request. I checked in late in the evening so all the nicer rooms were spoken for.

The walk wasn’t all that bad, maybe 15 minutes to the casino. If you’re planning to go to Vegas you better expect to do a lot of walking. After all, it’s good exercise. The casinos are big and appear to be in close distance to one another. But this is deceiving. Just make sure to take a bottle of water along with you on your walk.

Just a quick background- we were in Vegas for a week and stayed in 4 different hotels: Hilton, Bellagio, Signature and JW Marriott Golf Resort (in that order).

You have to know that Signature at MGM Grand beat everyone else hands down! What an amazing hotel. It was a struggle to leave the place after our two days there. In fact, I don't think we'll ever want to stay in any other hotels again!

First of all the gated entrance made it feel special straight away. It doesn't have a casino, and is not located on the Strip which was such a relief after the chaos of Bellagio. The valet and bellboys were polite and professional, the check in desk friendly and professional, and the luggage was brought up seconds after we got in. We phoned concierge for an adaptor at 3am and got it in 2 minutes free of charge!

Next, THE ROOM... and what a room.. on the 32nd Floor overlooking the Strip with a balcony, a state-of-the-art kitchenette, LCD TV, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a TV(!), separate toilet, nicest toiletries ever.. did I mention the view?
Unfortunately we didn't get to try the fitness room, spa, swimming pool or watch KA by Cirque du Soleil. We did however go to MGM Grand (connected by air-conditioned walkway), see the lions and tried the buffet for lunch (excellent). Last minute decided to see David Copperfield- quite cool, and rubbed shoulders with celebrities who were there on the weekend for the MTV Video Music Awards!

Cons? I thought the 15 dollar daily surcharge was unneccessary- why make it a surcharge when everybody has to pay it anyway? But who cares, this is Vegas where the total on the bill is always more than you think, and tips are compulsory! (80% of a waiter's earnings come from tips, we learned after asking around!)

You know, we might just make the 14 hour flight back to Vegas soon, just so we can stay at the Signature again!

I have stayed at MGM tower rooms which I didnt care for. The rooms are nice but walls are paper thin. I have also stayed in the MGM West Wing which is really cool, very modern, on the small side and the bathroom has no room to put anything. The Signature Jr Suite was very spacious. It had lots of drawers and closet space to put everything. It did get loud one night but I guess we should have shut the outer doors. There is another set of doors per every two suites that you can also close for additional privacy which would be great if you have friends staying in suite next door. From the Signature to the Studio walk was about 3minute walk via indoor moving walk way; then from the Studio walk to the Casino was about another 4-5 minutes...it wasn't too bad. The only time I regretted being so far from the Casino was the day I checked out and had not cashed in some chips so I had to walk or take a cab to the casino and had to leave my bags with the bell. I would definately stay there the next time I am in Vegas.
