We had 6 girls in our bachelorette party. We stayed at a 2 bedroom suite on the 20th floor of Tower #3. We had 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, 2 living rooms with convertible sofas, small balcony and a small dining area. The accomodations were clean and modern. The staff was extremely polite and helpful.

We rented a cabana and laid out by the pool. If you are expecting a large cabana, don't. The conceirge told us it was for 6 people - its not. Its more for 4 people. However, its was only $250 for the whole day so its a bargain compared to other hotels. But do not expect anything extraordinary - its just a smal brown tent with 4 chairs and a table.

The walk over to MGM is about 7-10 minutes from Tower #3. Its an "indoor" airconditioned walk way so its not hot. You are removed from the casino/clubs/bars so if this bothers you, I would not recommend it. However, it was no big deal for us.

Overall, we loved it because it was a nice contrast from the rest of our time in Vegas (casinos/bars/clubs).

I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Signature, Tower 2, 27th floor and stayed in a junior suite. This was my 10th trip to Vegas and I have stayed at a variety of strip hotels and timeshares, so I feel that I can very fairly compare accomodations. The suite was clean, well-decorated, beds were comfortable (even the sofa bed) and the bathroom was spacious and the TV was a nice touch. I enjoyed my stay with two friends and we were all impressed by the service of the staff (they appeared to be very well-trained and courteous), loved the scent in the lobby, the ability to "snag" a lounge at the pool, and as fitness professionals, we didn't mind the walk to and from the strip. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a Vegas get-away. It's not on the strip, but the monorail is very accessible and the quiet of being off the strip is appealing.

My husband and I just got back from LV and stayed at the Signature. It was our first time in LV, so for the first time visitors, if you are coming in on an evening flight during the week, and staying at the Signature, I would suggest taking a cab. It ends up being like $7.00. My husband and I waited for a shuttle bus for an hour, and finally talked another driver into taking us. The Signature itself gave off a great presentation with a gated entrance off of the strip. Unfortunately one of the bads things about our trip as well was dealing with a check in experience that wasn't great. We booked our trip through US Airways, and wasn't aware of the multiple fees that they charge you, eventhough you've already paid for everything in full. A manager was eventually able to resolve our issues, but after a long flight, and debating with the check in girl, and the smell of the lobby (which for some reason smells like an elderly mans favourite cologne), it was rough going in the beginning.
However, our room was amazing, PH tower 2. The area is under heavy construction so the view wasn't that great if you looked down, but in the a.m., with the sun coming up over the mountains...beautiful.
The Signature is lacking in some of the accomadations the other hotels boast about. There is no gambling, smoking, partying being done in the Signature. The good thing about the Signature is when you were done having fun and you wanted to unwind, it was perfect, but if you want to party and be part of the scene, prepare to travel.
As for food...Walgreens or CVS can provide some basic things that you can use in your suite to make it to a nice place to eat. If you can make it to the Bellagio...they have a Buffet that was wonderful at only $37.50/person!!! It'a all you can eat, and high end for an all you can eat place. We also visited a place named Peppermill at the other end to the Signature. It was great food, drinks and prices, and gave us an opportunity to hang out at the casinos at that end of town. The Peppermill is next door to the Riviera, and across from Circus Circus.
In conclusion, I would stay at the Signature again, and probably for longer, so I can experience more of LV...just bring more comfortable shoes...there is nothing worse than seeing ladies all dressed up and walking the strip barefoot, b/c they're feet hurt!!!!

Really enjoyed the great room. Wonderful jacuzzi, great view from high floor, tasteful decor, good size and good amenities (fridge, microwave, tv in bathroom), big flat screen tv. Close enough to get into the main MGM hotel if you want to, though if you'd like to avoid the casino bright lights and stay in the tasteful surroundings of the signature section of the MGM you can. Pool is good also, where you can lounge around and enjoy the vegas weather. Would definitely stay again. Service in general was good, though we didn't have a lot of need to make use of it except for usual check-in and check-out. Especially recommended for couples who perhaps aren't as interested in the gambling/drinking side of Vegas (it's still very accessible, just not in between your room and the front door).

  • Liked — Great rooms, great pool area to lounge in
  • Disliked — Leaving

We have been going to LV for over 10 years and have stayed at a broad spectrum of places from Bellagio to Golden Nugget to Ballys to MGM to even Excalibur (with a sports team). And now the Signature. This is one of the nicest hotels in vegas in terms of quality of the room. Its smoke free (there is an odd perfumed smell piped into the hallways) , the appointments are nice, the bathroom large and lovely, the bed comfortable. And a RARE convenience in LV - a coffee maker and fridge. Nice large screen tv. Even a balcony! We didn't use the kitchenette (we had a jr suite) but the fridge and coffee maker were nice. It was also nice not to have to walk and walk and walk to get to our room. Small, very nice lobby and elevators RIGHT there, and our room right across the hall when we got off the elevator. And the MGM restaurants were as close to the signature as they are if you stay in MGM (the ones in the lower walkway).

We didn't use all the ammenities. We didn't request turndown service and didn't use room service. But we loved the room. And the pool was very nice. Small but always chairs available (and close to the pool) and the service at the pool was absolutely excellent. We didn't order food but others did and it looked really good. The drink service was quick, and then free bottled water being delivered pool side and little free samples of drinks. We also don't bring small kids to LV, and the pool seemed to have more of an adult population. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

The Starbucks was far more convenient than in most LV hotels. The valet was fast UNTIL the last day when we needed to get to the airport. It then became apparent to us that they are not prepared for any volume to speak of. It was the first day they were really busy and it took 1/2 hr to get our car, even after calling ahead. So watch that. Also, although the concierge was nice enough, they handed us pre-printed directions for the car rental return and it was the WRONG location (there is a new rental car center in LV). Luckily, we spotted the problem ahead of time.

When we first drove into the hotel it was difficult to figure out where to go. There was nobody at the security station so we didn't even know what tower we were in. But when we drove up tot he tower the valet quickly got the information and sent us to the correct one.

The only downfall of this hotel is having to walk to a casino. I know I know, lots of people have said it doesn't REALLY take that long, and on the strip you have to walk to get anywhere. But we like to gamble in vegas, and this was by far the least amount of gambling we've done in any of our 20+ trips. Admittedly this was a shorter trip and because it was our anniversary we had shows and dinner both nights. But by the time we'd drive back to the hotel and get our car settled with the valet, it seemed inconvenient to walk down the hallway to the casino (to MGM).

That is a small inconvenience compared to the quality of the rooms and the positive experience of our stay. We would stay again. As nice as the Bellagio is overall, the rooms, linens, and service are all much nicer in this hotel.

  • Liked — The quality of the rooms, the smoke free, and the pool
  • Disliked — Lack of convenience to casino
