I generally travel to Vegas about 5 times a year and I've written reviews on this site for at least 8 hotels and I was immediatley impressed by the Signature. We stayed in a jr. suite and I was amazed at all the amenities, too many to name. Certainly the most complete hotel room I've ever stayed in, and I got a great deal off of Orbitz so consider that when booking. Valet and check-in were a breeze as well.

For a large hi-rise, the floors are relatively small so no room is too far from the elevators. And regarding those who complained about the walk to the MGM, it is literally a 2 minute walk from the signature lobby to the MGM. It is closer to the MGM pool, spa, restaurant row, and monorail station than most of the rooms at the MGM itself. Yes the casino is a bit further of a walk, but if you want a hotel where the elevators open right to the casino you probably wouldn't be staying here anyways.

There are a couple reasons why I didn't give it 5-stars. First, the water pressure in the shower was unacceptable. It might have been just my room but for a new building the pressure was about 25% of what it should have been. Also, like many properties, the Signature has a $15 per day resort fee. They tell you at check in you get free in-room internet service but what they don't tell you is that you have to bring your own computer! To use the in-room keyboard it's an additional $11 per day. Lastly, our rooms were made up quite early in the day which is nice, however, afterwards on 3 seperate occasions while we were in the room someone from housekeeping walked in to find out if the room had been cleaned. Two didn't even knock and the third person did the simultaneous knock and enter. I had to keep the room deadbolted at all times just to keep people from entering.

At the end of the day, this is certainly one of the nicest places to stay in Vegas in terms of the quality of the rooms - definitely 5-star. The entire experience however, was something a little less. However, I highly recommend this property and I would stay here again.

  • Liked — Wow, so many in-room amenities!!!
  • Disliked — Terrible water pressure. Spotty housekeeping service. Misleading resort fee.
  • Tips/Secrets: — Give the monorail a try, the MGM station is only about a 3 minute walk from the Signature lobby.

In September I've stayed for three nights in Las Vegas at the Signature (MGM Grand) with a friend.

First, when we arrived, we had to search the entrance of the Signature, because it lies hidden behind the big MGM Hotel. My first impression wasn't as good because the Signature MGM consists of three tall buildings - the only downside was, that only the first tower was opened and the other two still were at construction.

We booked a One Bedroom Suite, and the nice receptionist offered the only remaining room with strip view on the 6th floor, but told as that we could have higher room with airport-view. :-)

We took the one with strip view, but as we entered the room, we rarely had a look to the strip. More important: we looked to the two towers that were at construction, and we could see and hear the construction equipment even with closed windows.

So we got back to the reception and they gave us a way better room on the top floor (38th). And altough the room had the "airport"-view ( I think they called it "Mountain View") it really was the right decision. We also had a good view the a part of the strip (see the pictures of the MGM we've uploaded).

Well... it's really a great hotel. The rooms were very very clean and modern (ok, the hotel was just opened in around May, so nobody would expect the opposite).

At the second day, the housekeeping stuff took a brand new white shirt by mistake to the laundry, when they cleaned our beds (some kind of my fault, because it lied on the floor beside the bed).

The reception instantly called the laundry-service and searched for it. After a couple of hours they gave up, and compensated the whole amount for that shirt without any questions (about 150$).

The only downside during the stay: I lost too much money in the MGM Casino. But I don't wanna blame them for that. :-)

A fantastic hotel, with beautiful spa rooms away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos - but still walking distance. My husband and I spent 5 days here on honeymoon, the pool was lovely too as wasnt swarming with kids!!

Everything was perfect until we got the bill, check yours we had over $1000 of additions that we didnt order - apart from that little hiccup everything was parfect!!

  • Liked — spa rooms - and being away from but still close too casinos - and a kitchenette and minibar in vegas
  • Disliked — allways a wait to chat to front desk, very expensive hotel shop
  • Tips/Secrets: — check room service bills - things appeared

Our anniversary stay at this hotel was fabulous! We stayed in mid-October for 4 nights booked through USAirways. It ended up being probably around $100/night, talk about a deal!
I can't say more than what others have said:
PROS:
+professional/courteous staff--they were genuine and friendly.
+housekeeping staff were so prompt-- 5 seconds after I pushed the button, they arrived! my room was cleaned every night.
+called down to valet and almost every time our car was there by the time we arrived.
+the room fixtures and amenities were top-notch--the pillows and bed were heavenly
+the use of MGM Grand and Signature pools were such a great benefit.
CONS:
-the safe in the room didn't work. i didn't find this to be a problem though.
-8 minute walk to strip (only 2 min 40 secs to MGM though). Sometimes we took Harmon to get to the strip but the road had lost of construction.
This did not bother us at all but may be annoying to others.
-the resort fee... but whatever. I actually read the paper and drank the water and used the internet.

This place would be my first choice next time I come to Vegas, but I think there are many similar condos going up (including the Signature towers) so I will be eagerly awaiting reviews on all of them!

We went fro our honeymoon late August and we spent 3 wonderful days at Signature at MGM. It is new, quiet, professional staff, good size hall without any casino, spacious junior suite with all facilites, very good in-room service ( we ate twice in-room), private pool but with access to MGM Grand, very private access... EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!

  • Liked — private ambient
  • Disliked — walk a little bit to find restaurants
  • Tips/Secrets: — The junior suite is enough. It is very big with great views.
