Stayed at the MGM Signature for 4 nights during our first time visit to Las Vegas.
We booked our room via the Signature website rather than with one of the condo owners directly. It was only slightly more expensive than if we booked via VRBO, etc. The reason for us doing that is that we read on Tripadvisor that there were issues with the cleanliness of some of the rooms that were directly owned. We had no problems at all with the cleanliness of the room throughout our stay; it was pretty spotless the whole time.
We stayed in a junior suite which was very large; I can only imagine the size of the 1 /2 bedroom suites or the penthouses as were more than happy with the spacious size of our accomodation. The kitchen was excellent; the only minor downside is that there are no supermarkets nearby from what we could see so we couldn't take advantage of it. Still, the large fridge, etc was very handy. Our bed was very comfy and the bathroom was very luxurious, complete with a little LCD TV. Very nice. I loved soaking in the jacuzzi bath after pounding the strip. Just what I needed to soothe my sore limbs!
The hotel staff were very efficient and helpful with any queries / issues that we had. I saw some of the queues at the checks in in the main casino hotels and they looked like a nightmare. We were checked in within minutes of our arrival at the Signature. We reported some problems with our electrics with our room and they were fixed straight away, complete with a note left for us advising us that the problems had been rectified. Very good! We used the concierge to book the Hoover Dam and she was very organised and efficient.
Now for the downside, which is well publicised. We stayed in Tower 3 which is the furthest away from the main MGM hotel and didn't have any separate facilities, unlike Tower 2 and 3 which had a deli, Starbucks and the Signature lounge / bar. The walk to the main MGM lobby was about 10 minutes which for us wasn't initially a big deal as we walk a lot. However, on the 4th day it became a tad annoying that it would take so long to get back to our room after a long day / night out on the strip. It's definitely the main drawback of staying at this hotel.
Overall, the tranquility of the Signature, it's excellent accomodation and value for money more than outweigh the long walk to the MGM lobby from Tower 3. If you like some peace and quiet, away from the main drag, the Signature is definitely the place for you. It was for us!
