My husband and I stayed at the Signature (Tower 2) from May 11th-15th. We booked online with the hotel's website. Having booked so far in advance, the nightly rate of the hotel went down twice and my husband called both times and was able to have our rate adjusted so that was really nice. There was also a summer promotion that was running which included a few extras that we were able to have applied to our booking as well.
This was my first time in Vegas and my husband's second time (he had been years ago with his family when he was younger). We decided to stay at the Signature because of the great reviews and had a family member who stayed in 2007 and loved it. I would classify myself at a very fussy traveller. I am always researching to find the nicest hotel wherever we stay and my husband seems to think that is translated to mean the most expensive!! We travel often and always aim to find a great hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the door staff and made our way into the beautiful lobby. We checked in very quickly and did ask for a complimentary upgrade, which they were unable to give us (no problem, thought we would try!!). They were able to give us a room on the 36th floor which had a nice view of the mountains and all of the construction!! The only issues I had with the room/hotel were housekeeping related. My husband fell ill upon our arrival and he spent our second day in bed for the day. That night when we left for dinner, we telephoned housekeeping to have the room made up (as we had placed the do not disturb on). They assured us that it would be done and then I requested that the sheets on the bed be changed as my husband's germs were sure to be everywhere. Housekeeping indicated to me that they were unable to do so. No problem, I spoke to the concierge on our way out to dinner and they were happy to fulfill our request and advise housekeeping. On a side note, we found the wine and drinking glasses in the cupboards to be dirty so we avoided using those. The overall cleanliness of the room was not up to my standards, but again, I am extremely fussy and notice everything. I did not bring my cleanliness concerns to anyone at the hotel, but I am sure that the staff would have been more than happy to ensure that we were satisfied. From the pool staff to the concierge staff to the door staff, all were so friendly and efficient. The concierge was an excellent resource in terms of asking them questions, making dinner reservations, etc.
The walk to the MGM was a non-issue. With all the indulgences that Vegas has to offer, who can't use an extra few minutes of walking here and there? The pool area was great, always a chair to lounge on and never too crowded. We went to Vegas with friends who were staying at the Bellagio and although we didn't stay at the Bellagio, I feel that we were there quite a bit and I was very confident and pleased with our decision to stay at the Signature. Our room at the Signature was much larger and nicer than the room at the Bellagio. Our stay was so enjoyable that we can't wait to return!!!

I spent four nights at the signature for my 30th birthday, and had a great experience. The hotel is very clean and was reasonably priced at 159.00 per night. I researched all the five star hotels in vegas before making my decision. The only complaint I read about was the long walk to the strip, which is true but not really a big deal, we walked alot anyways. The hotel gave us a room on the 39th floor (Penthouse floor) just because it was our first time in vegas and my birthday. If I go back to vegas I would stay there again.

This hotel was fantastic from checking in, the room (wow) and checking out.
Not one problem what so ever.
The room is probably the best i've ever stayed in and i have stayed in a few nice hotels.
I suppose the only bad thing is the bed is too comfy that you don't want to get out of, but in Vegas there are too many things to see and do that you just have too.
We did see some reviews with regards to the walk from the towers to the main MGM Grand, all i can say to that is it's not a problem what so ever, if you don't want to walk just stand still on the moving walk way.
But if you don't like walking then don't do Vegas.
I'm just going to end by saying what a great hotel and Vegas rocks big time
Oh, if you like American food Toby Keiths in Harrahs Hotel and Casino is a must.

Having read the great reviews on here for the Signature at MGM Grand we had high expectations. I can honesty say the hotel really did exceed them all.

The rooms were lovely, we had a 2BR suite for 4 people on 26th floor in tower two. Some reviews have mentioned the walk through the hotel to the strip but to be honest you barely noticed it. Everything in Las Vegas is a ten minute walk, even getting to breakfast.

The rooms have kitchen facilities which while we didn't really use them, were great for drinks, snacks etc. Huge fridge in the 1BR. Between us there were 3 bathrooms, 6 tv's, a lounge and a balcony. Everything you could need and it was all modern and clean. The daily service charge per room is $15 for junior and $20 for 1BR so it worked out at an extra $35 per day but I factored this into the cost when I booked.

The big benefit of the Signature is it's located behind the main hotel with it's own reception and separate entrance. The non-gaming aspect made it so much quieter than the rest but with the convenience of the casinos within minutes. It was like an oasis among the hustle and bustle of the strip.

We found some great places to eat. Breakfast at both Bellagio and Signature was great but the Paris beat them both. About $18 per head but then we couldn't eat again until dinner time.

Hired a car for a few days and drove outside of Vegas. Visited Red Rock Canyon about 40 minutes away which was great. Also took in the Hoover Dam and drove into Arizona. The fountain show at the Bellagio was spectacular too. Lots of great shopping particularly at the Forum. A great week and amazingly relaxing.
