See the review by roadtripguymd - he pretty well sums up the MGM signature.
Its a simple choice if u want to escape from the madness that is Las Vegas & enjoy a 10/15 min walk & enjoy luxurious accommodation at a fair price then this is the place for you.
If not well - theres no shortage of choice in Vegas
We asked for room with balcony but my wife wanted to be higher - no problem 36th floor, however no balcony - no problem 18th floor & balcony. All of this with a genuine smile & desire to be helpful. this was true of all the staff we met - housekeeping were superb - if you left the do not disturb light on they would leave a message on phone reminding u to give them a call whenever u wanted the room serviced - 24hrs a day.
Our room was bigger & better than a friends at the Bellagio, altho nice views over the pool.
The bedding was changed every day unless u left a card on pillow & the wireless internett was very quick.
It would have been goo to have had a mini market closer but that aside the Signature was fantastic
PS we were in Tower 3 - i would have a slight preference for Tower 2 as i preferred the reception area & it is closer to the deli & the pool there was more sheltered.

We stayed for 5 nights at the MGM Signature for my husbands 40th birthday and had a fantastic time.

When checking in we asked for a view of the Strip and were put in Tower 1 on the 29th floor (pent house) - couldn't fault it. The room was luxurious - huge bed, jacuzzi, granite kitchen, flat screen tv and excellent view of the Strip (although some building work was going on at Planet Hollywood but my husband found this a bonus !).

There is a lovely basic pool linked to Tower 1. Apart from the waitresses who seemed anti-English (they never brought drinks which we asked for, but seemed to fall over themselves with Americans) the hotel staff were more than helpful. The manager was quick to feedback to the pool manager of their behaviour and they arranged a Grand Canyon tour for us which was excellent (Maverick Dream Catcher Sunset tour $459). They also confirmed our return flights online.

We found the walk back to the MGM quite long but pleasant and nothing too strenuous - they've done there best with the moving walkways. However, we found to go out the main entrance to the Signature and back through the security gates and walk down East Harmon Avenue was alot quicker. It brings you out on the corner of Harley Davidson which is further down the strip than the MGM. Also if you cross over East Harmon Ave and walk through the Mall linked to Planet Hollywood this was another short cut further into the strip.

We'd love to go back to LV and if we did we'd most definitely book at the Signature again. It was modern, clean and complete luxury amongst the hustle and bustle of the Strip.

If you can manage to sit through a 2 hour timeshare talk (1to1) you'll get free tickets to a show (we saw Stomp) and a $25 restaurant voucher at Planet Hollywood. We got dragged in outside and went back the next morning at 9am - it didn't intervene with the rest of our day and we had a great free night out.

Wonderful hotel. I booked it through a private owner on vrbo.com ( 113293) and it was less expensive. Our room was a junior suite and huge. The bathroom is awesome.

The cafe downstairs was excellent but it closes at 7pm. We bought a few meals there and put them in our refrigerator in our room so we could heat them when we got hungry. Room service is very good. We ordered off the kid's menu and the amount of food we got was incredible.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Only complaint was it was a bit of a distance from the Strip. The tunnel is connected to the MGM Grand and a nice air-conditioned walk. There is a backway over to the Strip, but it wasn't well lit or traveled and a bit scary at night.

  • Liked — Quiet and peaceful
  • Disliked — Distance to Strip and casinos

We have stayed at the Signature 3 times. Each time was progressively worse, unfortunately. Each time we stayed 1 week.

First, you need to know that the Signature is NOT a HOTEL. If are looking for a ultra nice HOTEL, this is not it. It is a Condo property that happens to rent some of the rooms as if they are "hotel rooms" - - don't be fooled. MGM uses it as a "spill over" when the real MGM is filled up, or you are not native American. When we checked in this time, we waited 9 hours to get our room cleaned - - can you believe it? The operations is Dysfunctional without question. MGM -- you need to make some management changes quickly - - don't be fooled that things are ok at the Signature - - things are far from polished.

The rooms are grade AAA, not AAAA. Their service is Stuffy and clearly not empowered to make decisions. Customer Service is weak and artificially polite. The Disney people would have a field day using this property as a basis for how NOT to treat customer. Better still, Marriott groups would find the culture to be plastic. If you are an experienced traveling executive, then you will want to find a different property - - this isn't it. For the price you can get far better first class treatment at other locations. We tried the remodeled Golden Nugget in downtown - - wow, very impressive - - many really cool features - - just awesome.

Remember - - the Signature is NOT a HOTEL. Don't waste your time and money.

This place is way over-hyped. You pretty much have to walk to the other side of the world to get to Tower 3, even with the moving walkway. Had a problem with the room that I rental, and customer service and the manager said that the MGM is not at fault how you rented this place and it was pretty much, too bad so sad. The manager said we can't help you because these condos are owned by private individuals and "we" MGM only look after these condos to make sure that customers get their keys. Even if you have everything in writing, they don't care. To the owners of MGM, shame on you.
