The Signature differs from many of the other Vegas hotels in that it is linked to the MGM but stands away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We received great service from the moment we arrived. Check-in was handled impeccably and we were shown to our 1 bedroom suite which was amazing. Spacious,a full kitchen, superb bathrooms and hugely comfortable bed. Great mountain views form our balcony on the 10th floor. The best features were the pop up tv in the bedroom and the huge jacuzzi. Everywhere around the hotel was spotless including our room.
There are 2 downsides for us about this hotel. A $15 resort fee per night is added to your bill which is very cheeky considering that what is provided should be included in the already high room rates and secondly from tower 3 you end up walking miles! It took us 15 to 20 minutes to go through the various walkways and through the MGM just to get to the strip.
That said, these are relatively minor gripes and did not detract from what was otherwise a memorable stay.

“The Mark of Excellance”

For a quick 3-day visit to Vegas, this website led me to the brand new golden towers of Signature at MGM Grand. My top-floor junior suite (with a nice view of the Strip despite the construction below), was very modern and included a large bathroom with glass shower and jacuzzi. The hotel sits behind MGM Grand like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Vegas Strip and the smoke-filled casino chaos of MGM Grand. Signature has an exclusive residential feel of chic-sophistication. The property is guarded and gated to limit public access and taxi traffic. Tour vans, limos and drop-offs have to first check in at the gate (which is reason to always know which tower for the driveways). Cons: No indoor pool during cooler months, the exercise room is small and to get to the Vegas Strip entrance one must walk through the large tower complex and then through the MGM Grand which takes about 8-12 minutes total (even with the moving sidewalks). The bed was comfy, the room; very clean and the staff was always friendly. I felt like a like a V.I.P. during my stay so I will definitely return next time I'm in Vegas.

We are in our 50s & have traveled all over the world. Signature ranks with the best of hotels. Absolutely 5 Star Service. Superior level of cleanliness that is rarely encountered anywhere. The service, from the baggage handlers to housekeepers to front desk, was outstanding. It is well managed from top to bottom. I needed our son's and his friends' room cleaned late in the afternoon & they sent 5 housekeepers. The rooms are very large and are exactly as pictured, good value for the $. We are not into smokey, noisey casinos so the peace and quiet of the Signature was appreciated. It is a quick walk to MGM Grand for gambling and fun. We were there for our son's 21st and just had a great time. Can't wait to return.

Wow! We went to Vegas for the first time in October and did a lot of research on where to stay. TripAdvisor's #1 ranking of The Signature sealed the deal for us, so we booked six days at these luxury condos. One of the best choices I've ever made!

Right from when we pulled up, the service was incredible and it stayed that way for our entire stay (possibly the best we've had in our life). We explained that it was our first time in Vegas and would love a room with a great view, and they booked us right into a suite with a balcony overlooking the strip on the 26th floor. The view was amazing! Upon getting to our room, we found that the cordless phone didn't work, so I called down to maintenance (there are a total of 3 phones in the room) and within ten minutes someone was up to fix it. Not bad for a hotel with over 1500 rooms!

Just for contrast, friends of ours who we went down to Vegas with were staying at the Excalibur. To really appreciate how amazing the Signature is, you have to visit one of the other hotels. Their room was small and cramped and very old, it smelled, and it overlooked the back of the hotel, lol. Ours was like an oasis in the desert in comparison. And there wasn't even that much of a difference in price.

Our room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfy, the balcony was amazing, and the bathroom was incredible. A shower big enough to fit four, lol. And a TV by the vanity!

The only hesitation we had about booking was that many reviews mentioned how far away it was from the Strip. Ignore all of these people! From our room in tower 1 to the shops of the MGM Grand was about a six minute "walk" (you walk on electric walkways, like in airports, in an enclosed climate controlled environment), four more minutes to the casino floor, and about five more minutes to the Strip. Fifteen minutes isn't that bad (it takes that long to walk from the rooms in the Bellagio to the actual strip).

We didn't use the room service, or the pools, or the gym, so I can't comment on those. The $15 service fee is applied to everyone (even those who book through an online travel site), but c'mon - it's a whopping $15/day. You'll spend more than that on tipping valet parkers. And you get wireless internet that actually works all the time (a first in any hotel that we've EVER stayed at), a free paper, and all the bottled water you can drink (just ask for more from the valet parkers). And you'll more than save the $15 by the fact that the Signature's rooms come with a full functioning kitchen with fridge. We grabbed some basic groceries the first day we were there (bread, soup, muffins, juice, etc) and never bought a breakfast the entire stay. And it was nice to always have a snack ready when you got back to your room.

Overall, I would highly, highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. When we go back, we might stay at the Bellagio or Ventian, just to see what the difference is being more 'centre strip', but I would certainly stay at the Signature again.

“Very Nice Hotel, Couple of Problems”

My husband and I stayed at the MGM Signature Hotel for 10 days while we were getting married in Vegas. This was the best room I have ever reserved. The bathroom was very nice and the tub was large enough for 2 people to stretch out and relax in. The view was awesome from the 36th floor of Tower 3. However, there were a couple of problems:
1. Our room did not get cleaned daily, even though we illuminated the housekeeping light, we did not get our room cleaned for 3 whole days. They cleaned our room on Monday, but not on Tues, Wed or Thurs. We called down on Thursday night after we got in (around 9PM) to get towels, water, coffee, creamer and sugar. We also asked what we have to do to get our room cleaned. The stated they would send someone up. The maid did clean the room thoroughly, we were a little irritated as we were both very tired and the cleaning took well over an hour. Would have liked for the cleaning service to have cleaned our room during the 9 hours we were out of the room that day. Then, the cleaning service did not clean our room again on Friday. So we went to the desk on Saturday morning. The manager apologized and took off our resort fee for everyday that we were there.
2. The hotel would not honor the $25 resort credit at check out because it was not noted on our reservation. We stayed for 10 days!! We paid full price, it was well over $2000, would it have killed the hotel to give us the $25 credit?
I do have to rave about the deli that is located in Tower 2 called Delights, the food is incredible. Also tried Fiamma, which is very good (but pricey).
The Grand Cafe inside the casino has below average service. I found several curly hairs underneath my french fries and sandwich, but our server did not check up on (not even to refill our drinks) until my husband was done, so I just had them take it off the bill.
The MGM buffet is good, but not the best. I enjoyed the Bellagio buffet much more, and I hear that the Wynn buffet is the best in town.
