Stayed here for two nights over Memorial Day weekend. Paid $69/night at Hotwire three months prior to.
Rooms are very modern, big (about 500sqft), elegant and clean. Big 42’ LCD on the wall. Floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing view of the Strip, though the view is a bit far. Bathroom is big with a small tv facing the tub, separate door for toilet for privacy, double sink, and separate shower. Robes and slippers are provided as well. The “Do not disturb” and “Make up room” signs are electronic, all you need to do is push the button in your room beside the door if you want either request. The lighting in the room could be better, even when the reading lights are on. The beds are heavenly, comparable to Palazzo’s beds and more comfortable than Paris’s, Flamingo GO’s and South Point’s beds.
Hotel is about 2 years old only. The grounds around the hotel are marvelous, lots of palm trees. Hotel registration took less than five minutes. The lobby inside is gorgeous. The whole atmosphere is very hip and trendy. You will need a car if staying at this place. The car ride is about 25 mins. to the Strip. There ‘s also a shuttle for hotel guests, part of the $21.79 daily “resort fee”, up from $19.95 recently. Aside from the shuttle, services included in the fee were free bottles of water and apples in the lobby, daily newspaper delivered to your door, and turndown service. If you happen to stay here, ask for a room near the elevator, it'll save you lots of walking because the elevators are only on one side of the hotel.
The pool is great, one big round pool with fountain in the middle, and several small pools including Jacuzzis. Lounge chairs have cushion and are plenty. Pool is open from 8-8pm when we were there.
The Feast Buffet is very good. Lots of variety and the ambience is the best of all the buffets we’ve tried. Very bright, modern. Price is reasonable at $16.99 per person for dinner with players card (18.99 without card). The buffet is slightly better than Mirage and Green valley ranch’s but below Mandalay’s Bayside buffet.
Overall, I cannot complain anything about this hotel. One thing I noticed though is that this hotel is family oriented because of the pool, arcade and cinemas. But even for couples this is great. With their amenities, you don't need to leave the property if you don't want to. Only time we left the property is when we had evening shows to attend or to meet up with friends. This is definitely worth the $69 a night for a five-star property in my opinion.
P.S. I apologize for the wrong date on the attached pictures. It should've been 05/25/08. Just forgot to reset the date on my camera while there.
