My husband and I were married at Mandalay Bay and we are so glad we did!! Mandalay Bay has the most beautiful chapel and the price was not overly expensive. Our photographer was excellent and took many great pictures. We stayed at THEhotel and it was wonderful as well. The bathroom is worth the extra price! Our only hitch was that our limo driver was one hour late to pick us up to get our marriage license and I never actually met my wedding coordinator. However, Rochelle at the chapel took great care of us. The minister was also wonderful. He didn't rush and was much more than I expected. I would definately recommend getting married and staying at the Mandalay Bay.

My husband and I got married at The wedding chapel at Mandalay Bay. The chapel was beautiful. Our coordinator called me by the wrong name a couple of times and seemed very rushed, as there were several weddings that day. Our minister was great and we got lots of compliments on the ceremony.
We had our reception at the Giorgio Cafe near the Luxor resort in the Mandalay Place. Our coordinator there, Michelle, lied to us on several accounts, and we didn't get what was promised or paid for. It was very dissapointing. I would not reccommend that place for a reception. When our "time" in the banquet room was over, they kept turning on and off the lights several times instead of politely telling us we needed to leave as there was another wedding party they needed to set up for. It was so rude and most of our guests complained.
Our honeymoon suite was HUGE and had a great view of the strip. We really enjoyed the room and the room service people were really nice. Our every need was taken care of. It made us feel so special.
Our package included a dinner at the Shanghi Lilly. When we got there, they were waiting for us. We had a great table and the most fabulous waitor. The food was amazing and I HIGHLY reccommend eating there. We felt like royalty and it was SO relaxing. After dinner we went to Mama Mia. I really like ABBA music so I enjoyed it alot, but my husband thought it was just ok.
Overall, we had a great experience. Just remember, it is Vegas and you get what you pay for. If you want something really nice, expect to pay big dollars for it! Good Luck!

My friend had a wedding there and the wedding planners were great to HER. However, the day of the wedding they were rude to the guests. Not to mention there was an amature photographer that took crappy shots and no other cameras were allowed in the chapel. A ritzy atmosphere and expensive prices don't make up for a poor attitude! I am going elsewhere for my wedding.

My daughter was married in the chapel at Mandalay Bay recently. We had selected everything in advance with their wedding coordinator in early April. The day after we got to the hotel, we checked in with them and they were very accommodating. We were shown which chapel we were to use and even the bride and groom dressing rooms. The coordinator went over all of the details with us and assured us that everything was ready. The day of the wedding, the next day, we arrived and were shown to the room and met with the minister, who was great. (He did a great job all throughout the ceremony!) The musician playing the piano was great and the music was also perfect. The chapel was tastefully decorated and very elegant. The photographs were so good we ended up buying the whole package, which was very expensive, but oh so worth it. My daughter's flowers were also very well done. The florist was first class.
All in all, it was a wonderful ceremony and every one of our friends and relatives in attendance were very pleased and impressed with everything.
