I was married at the Mandalay Bay Gold Chapel in July 2008. It was absolutely perfect for what I wanted and turned out amazing. We had a total group of 16 and the size of the chapel was perfect. The chapel itself is beautiful, and did not look anything like a funeral home as my mother was fearing. As others have said the photos were outstanding and the professionalism of the staff day-of was top-notch. I had the platinum sky package. The flowers were beautiful, everyone complimented them throughout the day. Half of my guests were Spanish and they were able to arrange for translation during the ceremony. The included dinner at Shanghai Lilly was also awesome, the food was great and the staff had everything down like clockwork. The suite included in the package is the 600 ss suite at Mandalay Bay. It was spacious, good closet space, and the tub was great as well. I got my hair at make-up done at A Robert Cromeans Salon and it came out great. I would highly recommend them. Price for med-length hair + makeup was was about $200.

The only thing I would really recommend is to verify verify verify all the details with your wedding planner/the hotel/restaurants. For example: My wedding planner had the wrong time for the ceremony, it was 6:30pm and all her correspondence stated 6pm. Also, my hotel reservation was canceled due to no deposit, which I found out when I tried to check in...after it had been verified with the planner. Lastly, the reservation at Shanghai Lilly was apparently never made. I happened to call to verify the time...and found out there was no reservation. With that said, the staff at Mandalay Bay was great and fixed any issues immediately. The wedding turned out perfect and I would highly recommend them.

We just got married on the 10th of June 2008. We went with the Opal shores package. I had a custom bouquet made, price wasn't too shabby for the upgrade. The wedding was great the pictures were amazing. I am a model and know a good photographer when I see one. The packages for the photo upgrades range from $450 to $2500 with our package we wanted 41 photo's and ended up with 35 in our price range, a magazine, photo video, canvas painting, 2 8x10's and some great upgraded touch ups plus for around $550 including tax. Times are slow they will work with you on prices if need be. We rented the Vista suite so we would have 1700 square feet for private reception and chose to have our lunch for our guests at the bayside buffet which I would like to add that I was not happy about at first but relationships are about compromise. The pictures did not do it justice. I thought it looked cheap online but that was not the case in person. As matter of fact our guests were disappointed that we all ate at the Rio buffet the night before rather than the bayside, they felt it was a better choice and amazing service. Clean restaraunt, gorgeous view, high ceilings and great desserts. We were under contract with the bayside for a pre arranged number of guests and when people couldn't show short notice they told us not to worry about it, they would only charge us for the guests we had there at the moment. They didn't have to do that but things like that keep me coming back. I was going to go with the Wynn originally but they were snots to me. I have no time for that behavior. My fiance and family were so impressed this is the only hotel we want to stay at until they build the City center and we may try that one next but for us we will not waste our time and money with anyone else knowing what kind of service and excellence we have gotten at Mandalay Bay. I hope you experience is as wonderful as ours.

We were recently married at The chapel at Mandalay Bay, and it was a fantastic experience. The chapel is absolutely gorgeous - it looks exactly as it does on the photographs. The flowers were lovely and the pianist played our requests beautifully. The minister was really great, he was friendly and the service was lovely. All our guests enjoyed the service. The DVD was ready for us as we left the ceremony, and the photographs were ready the day after the ceremony. Everyone at the chapel, and Cashman photographers were slick and professional, and our photographer, Mark, did a FANTASTIC job with the photos - everyone who has seen them has commented that they are fantastic.

On occasion, the process of organising the wedding was a bit difficult from the UK, and a number of our faxes got lost - so I'd recommend scanning documents and sending them as attachments to emails. But this was a slight hiccup and overall, I can't fault the experience - it was absolutely brilliant.

Our wedding coordinator Angela was great at keeping up with all my requests and last minute changes. I wish we would have tipped her more. We got married on 2/23/08 in the gold chapel.
I had the sheer curtains shut because it was cloudy that day, but I kinda wished we would have opened them.
I custom ordered a red rose bouquet with green cymbidium orchids and the bouquet came out perfect! The ceremony was a dream, the way they opened the doors for me and the piano player played so beautifully, it made me melt the second I walked in.
We got the honeymoon suite with our package, but soon found out later the booking people didn't know it was part of our package, and charged us extra so we are currently working on that. The room was huge and had a great view of the pool.
You also get a gift basket full of fruit and cheeses and all kinds of goodies if you get a honeymoon package.
If you didn't order a video package, don't fret.
They record the ceremony anyway in case you do want to purchase it later. Which we did! We also bought everything they had to offer, because the pictures came out better than I thought they would.

This chapel is HIGHLY recommended!!! :)
