My husband and I went to the Mix lounge after we told the concierge at the Venezia Towers we did not care for the pop music at the nightclub Pure, yet we like the view at Pure. We got in for free and sat outside. Mix was very nice. The views of the strip were wonderful!
Drinks reasonable and my husband loved the view from the bathrooms. .
. . Yes the bathrooms. Service was casual and good. The crowd seemed very friendly. It was icing on the cake for a great Las Vegas vacation.

This was our 2nd visit up to the Mix lounge! After enjoying a dinner at Red Square, we headed up here at around midnight on a Thursday night. My boyfriend was charged $20 and I was free. (The man at the front acted as if this was a good deal, but I don't know what their normal policy is. We didn't mind the charge because we already knew that we would enjoy it!)

We were a bit surprised that is was pretty quiet - no one was on the dance floor and there were quite a few open bar seats. It was still warm enough out, so we sat on the enclosed patio and enjoyed the views and our drinks. Breathtaking! It really gives you an idea of just how big Vegas has gotten and is very exciting to to be up that high, looking down on it all.

The only downside was that the bartender who served us was very quiet and had no conversation skills. Not sure how he ended up working at a high end bar like this, but maybe he was just having an off night.

With the exception of a high rise restaurant that I once ate at in Chicago, Mix has the coolest view from a bathroom ever! Whoever thought a bathroom could be that exciting?! You simply must see for yourself. And yes, I've heard the girl's bathroom is better...sorry guys. :)

The view is to die for.

We went early evening, on a Saturday no less, and the place was pretty emtpy. There were plenty of tables to choose from, inside and out. As the hours went on, groups came and went, and it got more crowded. Stayed for the sunset, watched Vegas light up, it was breathtaking. Drinks were $$ (of course) but good. Service was fine. By the time we left around 9pm, they started putting "Reserved" signs on the tables, but it was still not crowded and they were not charging cover. (i know they do at some point) Love this place, will go back next time I'm in town.

Showed up in the evening to watch the sun set over the strip - beautiful! Drinks were excellent and hte bar tender was very sweet! If you don't want to go here to party, I recommend going as we did, before 9pm because you avoid the cover and it isn't too crowded, so you can get a great seat (either inside or out, we sat inside because it was still over 100 degress when we were up there). Very cool place to hang for a bit and feel ultra hip!

other tip - you can get great pictures both while up there and while in the elevator!
