My husband and I were just married at The Grove in Las Vegas. I would HIGHLY recommend The Grove to anyone wishing to have a beautiful outdoor wedding! It was a bit out of town - approximately 15-25 minutes depending on traffic, but the scene with the mountains was so worth it!

I would recommend having your ceremony during the summer months when the grounds are green and lush. It really was a beautiful place to be!

The staff at The Grove were wonderful. The only draw-back I have with The Grove was the officiant. Rev Phil was not as "pleasant" as I'd pictured him to be. I was a bit frustrated that he didn't feel the need to put on a nice shirt for the ceremony - he wore a black t-shirt under his blazer. I felt it was tacky.

Overall though, I was very happy with The Grove. We had a beautiful limo, wonderful photographer, and a great wedding coordinator who was there for us every step of the way!

We only had the ceremony there and the reception at the Grove Garden Bistro restaurant, on their property (different from their reception hall.) It is a beautiful location and looks great in pictures. Our guests all made comments about how beautiful it was. I did feel "nickel and dimed" by paying $100 for chiffon, but I'm glad I did so because it rained the day before and wouldn't have been up, if I didn't pay. The flower prices were outrageous and not worth it. It was part of my package and we still used an outside vendor. My one and only complaint is that there was loud music playing during our ceremony. It was so loud it distracted me. You can even hear it on the DVD of the ceremony. The Grove coordinator said it was "coming from way over there" but I suspect it was really coming from the DJ warming up for the reception about to happen at the Grove reception hall. It wasn't enough to give them a lower score but if it came from their property, I am very disappointed. They were very professional and "to the point." This location is not for the "micro manager bride" but perfect if you want to relax and just let it happen.

We would highly recommend the Grove. After looking into several wedding chapels througout Vegas, we came upon the Grove and were absolutely thrilled. The price was in fact comparable to what many chapels offered for similar services. We were wanting something simple yet elegant, and the Grove provided just that. The staff were very attentive to our needs and made our day exceptional. The grounds were beautiful and despite the Vegas heat (in July!) our guests were very comfortable. We went for a no frills wedding, but the Grove offers a number of options and will ensure that your wedding is everything that you wanted. If you want to skip the cheesy chapels and are looking for an intimate outdoor wedding, the Grove is the perfect place!

Weddings at The Grove should be researched thoroughly. Too expensive for what it is, looking back, we wish we would have done it in a strip chapel or spent the money on The Venetian. We were disappointed with the condition of the facilities and embarassed for our guests who were in a filthy reception hall with moisture stains (bad ones) on the ceiling, an odor & the carpet was stained as well. My bouquet had wilted petals around all the roses, I had to remove several outer layers. They provided no flatware for my guests to use with their appetizers, not even serving pieces. Then they gave us the wrong cake. The cake was so dry cake that it seemed to have been refrigerated for a very long time - forgotten maybe - it had thick, sweet icing that fell off the cake in clumps when cut....- very embarassing. They did, however, refund us $50 for this unfortunate incident. It was windy and a lot of the pictures reflected the weather... not their fault though. There were some nice pictures though, with the pond and the greenery.

Reception was in a fabulous restaurant called Zeffirino in The Venetian - it made up for everything. Elegant, organized, and they went above and beyond over and over again. They were wonderful and we plan to return there to celebrate our 1st anniversary

“The Grove Garden Wedding Chapel, LV.”

WOW! Fantastic venue!!!! We got married at The Grove in March 2005. We came across the website by accident whilst trawling the web from our front room in London. We were a bit apprehensive at first, as we were unable to find any reviews or mentions anywhere but it looked so good in the photos that we decided to go ahead and book it for our special day.

The Grove were very quick at replying to my emails, despite the time difference. We were even given the web address for the minister conducting the service. Again, Rev. Phil was also quick at responding to my emails and we were even able to plan the whole ceremony by customising Rev. Phil's Orders of Service by cutting and pasting our favourite bits.

We had arranged to visit The Grove before the big day and were very glad that we did as although it is in "Las Vegas" it is about 20 minutes drive at least from downtown (once you have escaped the traffic) up the motorway (Durango Drive - I think). It is near national park land and surronded by beautiful mountains. Anyway that prelim visit cost as $80 round cab fair!!! So we booked a 12 seater limo from presidential limos for our guests to travel in. (we had a limo provided for us in our package) which from memory cost us about $200.

The whole wedding was very well organised by the staff at The Grove and went without a single hitch. I had also booked a seperate photographer (Karen Nolden from picture me in las vegas - very well reccomended!!!) and they were happy for her to mingle and take photos alongside their own photographer. We received a 36 ex roll of film from the chapel which were just as good quality as the other photographers photos.

The wedding took place outside in a wooden gazebo, or larger groups can get married at the lake-side (not really a lake more a pond, but lovely just the same!) and my Dad got to "lead me down the garden path" (sorry English humour) rather than walk me down the "aisle".

All in all, we had a fantastic wedding and have no doubts about recommending The Grove.

Tammy and Liam
