too bad they don't have a clue how to keep their air clean. If I wasn't choking on the air pollution, it would have been an good stay but since I can't hold my breath for more than a few seconds, I ended up miserable the whole time. When I first walked into the room, it was beautiful but the air was horrible. I looked into the AC intake filter and saw it was caked with years worth of crud. Called the front desk and they sent up a maintenance man to change the filter. A little bald headed chap with an attitude showed up, cussed at the 2 screws he had to turn to take the cover off, proceeds to bend the filter in the middle creating a crease that breaks any chance of a seal and stormed off like he had something better to do. The windows do not open so there is no chance for fresh air unles you take the elevator down and walk past a row of 30-40 ringing machines and step outside. Something i did several times near the end of my stay. The walls are paper thin I could hear people laughing shouting from 2 rooms away. I booked for a week as I was relocating to Vegas and spent most of the day driving around looking at houses for sale. But in the evenings I would browse online listing. By the end of the week stay, my internet charges added up to $90. Yep.. a cool $12.99/ 24 hrs A service that most hotels gladly offer for free. I guess they must be ashamed to charge for the internet cuz they say on the TV menu that "only wireless requires access code, the wired internet is free. This turned out to be a blatant lie as I tried to connect with my own cable and it took me right back to the to the "pay now or no internet" page. When I asked the maintenance man what that "only wireless requires access" meant, he shrugged and rolled his eyes and pointed to the cable and repeated that it is $12.99 that requires an access code. The TV is nice. A big 42 flat screen hanging on the wall. You turn it on and it starts blaring ads for the casino. Ok, no problem, change the channel and find there are very few choices. Put it on something you want to watch and a few minutes later, it reverts back to a droning female voice suggesting over and over again "what are you waiting for, click menu now for some porno. Titles will not show on your bill. Click menu now. What are you waiting for... aaaarrrrggghhhh " Click!!! the TV is off. Over all I would not have complained about anything if the air was clean. The rooms are very nice, the garden buffet was excellent, I will go back for that sometime. Best lasagna I have had in years. But if I cant breathe, I cant stay sorry... I moved to an extended stay hotel just down the street from this place. I can breathe, I am paying less than 1/2 of the other place. Internet is free. I am happy. I feel sorry for the people that have to work there all day long day after day. It would make me physically sick as I could hardly stand 1 week of it. If they chanced all the filters regularly, and used commercial grade hepa vacuum cleaners, it would go a long way to making guests comfortable.
