We Stayed on the 28th floor the first weekend of May. It was a wonderful experience. Our room was neat and clean, and exactly how the pictures show it. We had a one bedroom suite and had 4 people staying in it, and there was plenty of room. Our view was of the airport not the strip, but we can't complain. There was a little construction noise in the middle of the day, but it wasn't bothersome. Planet Hollywood is right next door and that is where we ended up spending most of our time since it has shows, shops, food, and casinos. I know the grande chateau is a timeshare property but I would have liked there to be some sort of restaurant in the building. All it has is a convenient type store in the lobby. $6 for a little salad. So we didnt really get much from there. The pool on the roof was nice. Small, but adequate. Got quite busy on really sunny days. The concierge was very helpful helping me and my sister-in-law book a spa treatment elsewhere. All in all, great quiet place a block from the strip!

We're Marriott owners in the first 24 hours of our stay, and so far are extremely disappointed. The Chateau knows they have a problem with Interval and has done nothing to remedy it. We came expecting a one bedroom as described on their website and in the reviews above. Turns out there are two classes of one bedrooms. If you get stuck with a one bedroom which is the lockoff portion of a three bedroom suite you end up with a room half the size of the normal rooms, a bathroom with one single vanity and one mirror. This room is supposed to accommodate up to four people and every other Marriott one bedroom we've stayed in does - they may be tight but they are workable. At the Chateau its tough to have two people in this room. There isn't even a second mirror in the whole place. The area only accommodates a two person dining table but they squeezed in four chairs. We had to stack up two of the dining room chairs in a corner as they blocked the entrance door and the kitchen area. The Chateau itself does not call this a one-bedoom, but they allow Interval to keep booking this as a one-bedroom. If you know what a junior suite is at a Residence Inn, that is what it is. We are here for a week and supposedly they are working with Interval to try and get us moved. Lots of talk from them about how Marriott can't do anything; however, Marriott owners are supposed to have priority. I'll post again in a couple of days and let you know if Marriott comes through and remedies the situation.

We stayed here March 28 to April 4, 2008 in a one bedroom accommodation. The unit was lovely and very clean. I really appreciated the separate vanities as hubby had his and I had mine. It made it easier when getting ready for the day. As we like to have a light breakfast in the room, the kitchen was a plus. The king bed was very comfortable with a nice duvet. We used the exercize room which was great and no extra charge. The location is great, just off strip. They have a shuttle that runs from noon until 6:30PM to the Fashion Mall. We used it several times when we went to the Wynn, Venetian and others at that end of the strip. Our room faced the PH construction so at times we did hear the noise. Also we did hear noise from above when a shower was used or tub filled. If a pool is important to you, this is not the place to stay. The pool is very small. I think it is the smallest pool, i have ever seen. It was not important to us as we have a pool at our Florida home, but I know for some people who visit Vegas from the Northern climates a pool is important. Also the MGC is non smoking. They do have an area by the roof bar where one can smoke and by the front door. In their printed information book, they state very clearly that if you smoke in the room, they will charge you $250.00 cleaning fee. The small market off of reception is very pricy. We enjoyed our stay, overall and would not hesitate to stay again.

A new Vacation Villa property. Consistant with all others. Pleasant staff, small market store, clean rooms, good location - a block off the strip, fairly quiet (although you can hear a bit of traffic from the strip if you don't have your air on). Would stay here again.

Stayed at the Marriott Grand Chateau for a couple nights. Overall an excellent facility with a great location as described in several other recent reviews. We stayed in a 1 bedroom timeshare unit and the unit is accurately depicted in the hotel photos. The experience is what you would typically expect from a Marriott timeshare.

Note that construction is an issue, but not that bad. There is construction on the new tower for the Grand Chateau as well as across the street at Planet Hollywood. It does get a bit noisy in the morning when they start work at 5:30am.

The rooftop pool is small, but nice. The pool bar has happy hour prices for a couple hours on weekdays. The Grand Chateau also offers free wireless internet service.
