We were married at the Bel Amour (now known as the Allure) in February, 2006. The office and chapel were kinda cheesy and tacky. A month after the wedding we contacted Clark County to get a certified marriage certificate and were told that our marriage had not been recorded! After many, many phone calls to a machine and messages left, empty promises by the receptionist that the owner would contact us, I contacted Clark Count regarding filing charges against Minister Oleros for not recording the marriage within 10 days as required by Nevada law and also contacted the Better Business Bureau. We were told by the Bel Amour that "the recorder's office lost the paperwork." The recorder's office assured us that they don't lose paperwork. To make a long story short, after 4 months many dollars worth of long distance calls, faxes, etc., we finally received our certificate. For your own peace of mind, I advise you to spend a little extra and go to one of the reputable chapels that will be more concerned with customer service.
