First,

the menu was tired and uninspired. Overpriced and basically, mediocre at best.

6 courses of the same old tired food, and not very high quality.

Here is the BEST part. They included 20% tip on the bill, which was never mentioned on the menu, but even BETTER. They included alcohol in the tip.

As they had $45,000 bottles this was very odd. I ordered a $1,000 bottle and got to pay 200 as a tip. I asked if I had ordered a $10,000 bottle would i have paid $2,000 on the tip?

The answer was yes. Pathetic is all i can say about this.

And Hubert Keller was there in person all night, and still such low quality.

My husband & I ate at Fleur de lys for our anniversary this past Sept.-the food was fantastic & the service was top-notch. We made reservations so they knew it was our annivers. When we got there they placed us in a private little area with white curtains. We both had the 4 course tasting menu-excellent. For desert the chief made us our own special cake that was to die for. The cost is a little above average but worth every cent.

We chose Fleur de Lys for our one high end special dinner during our recent trip to Las Vegas and were very disappointed. The service initially was very pleasant. Our head waiter was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Not surprising as I have since learned the menu has not changed in the few years since its opening. We ordered the three course option with wine pairing. The wine pairing was $50 each. We were very surprised and disappointed to discover this included only 3 half-full glasses of wine each. No aperitif was served, and as such we enjoyed our complimentary small appetizer with ice water. We would have ordered a glass of champagne separately had we known, but unfortunately we were never given the opportunity. Our ordered appetizer was then served, but we had to wait 10 minutes into it for a wine to be served. The sommelier only briefly introduced his selection without any embellishment before quickly darting away. The fois gras terrine was substandard at best. I then had the lobster on bamboo risotto. The lobster was undercooked and nearly impossible to cut through. The risotto was even more so, in fact it was crunchy! yuck. My partner ordered the 12 oz rib eye. The accompanying sauce was delicious... too bad the steak was very gristly. I would have loved to have an opportunity to send back my entree, or even discuss it, however after placing our initial order we were entirely ignored. We only saw food runners, bussers, and briefly the sommelier. I sat at the table for 20 minutes not eating my dinner and despite the half-empty small dining room, and abundant staffing, no one came over to the table to inquire about our enjoyment of the meal. In the end I had to tell 2 bussers and flag down our waiter to discuss my entree. This portion of the meal was taken off of the bill, however no sincere apology or offer of any kind was made. They didn't even offer me a replacement entree! At a restaurant of this price point and Keller's name attached I would expect far better treatment and food quality. With so many fantastic restaurants in Vegas I strongly recommend spending your $350 elsewhere. I should note we are experienced restaurant goers who have no difficulty spending this amount or more for a positive dining experience. Unfortunately we got hosed this time around. I hope this review helps others avoid the same fate.

We have been to Fleur 3 times and have never been remotely disappointed. Interesting food - wine list that never ends - and excellent service. We are not big spenders ($300 for two) so I don't believe the service etc we received was owing to anything but a superb restaurant.
