I only tried two things at Ellis Island, and they were both among the best values in Vegas. First is the steak and eggs breakfast for $5! That's right - FIVE DOLLARS. This gets you two eggs, a small sirloin steak, delicious hash browns, and two slices of toast. Doesn't come with a drink but still, great value. Would come here every morning. Better yet, the paper placemats on the tables all have a $5 blackjack matchplay coupon, so right after breakfast you can use that on the blackjack tables - bet $5 with your matchplay coupon and if you win, you get $10 instead of $5!

The other great deal is their BBQ! I'll post a picture of our plates below - it was an amazing deal. First you must sign up for an Ellis Island player's card (free). This gets you $5 off any food there, AFTER 24 hours (so you must come back the next day to use it). But the BBQ prices, if I remember correctly, are as follows: Full rack of ribs - $11.99....Half rack - $7.99....Half chicken - $7.99......Half chicken half rack combo - $8.99. And with it, you get coleslaw, corn on the cob, baked beans and two slices of garlic bread. Delish! And with the $5 off coupon you can see how cheap this meal can be! I ate one of the biggest BBQ meals of my life at a restaurant (half rack of ribs and half chicken combo - definitely the best value) for $4!!!

Also note that Ellis Island has one of the top rated microbreweries in the nation, so you can enjoy one of the delicious beers (or home made root beer) with your meal as well. It was truly a great experience at this laid back, diner atmosphere restaurant/casino. We made more trips back here (4 times) than any other place in Vegas. And I won about $100 on the blackjack table here ($5 minimum, conservative play).
