Saw Mamma Mia with my wife on Sunday August 3 2008. We were very lucky to get $58 tickets thru travelzoo promotion- 2nd row center right in front of stage. The show as AWESOME- uplifting, funny. Just very well done. It was the highlight of our trip and we definately recommend it. We saw some negative reviews here but hey this has been playing in vegas for 9 years- they must be doing something right!!

We saw this show over Memorial Day Weekend as a last minute decision. I had wanted to see it for years as I like ABBA and found it to be a very cute show. As another reviewer said, there are some projection issues and the acting can be inconsistent (I have seen a lot of professional live theatre - musical and non-musical). But overall, a fun evening that you sing along and tap your foot to. Particularly, if you are an ABBA fan, certainly you should see this one.

I saw this show last week. I have seen many broadway and touring shows as well as work on the tech crew for some. I saw this on a Saturday night and the theater was half full. I found the music and orchestra to be good but the performance of the cast to lack a professional quality. The three main female roles have trouble just projecting. Acting poor. First act was worse than the second. I over heard others who thought the same. One woman in the front row was asleep. I also noticed that people sitting around us who have not gone to much theater enjoyed it. So maybe if your not exposed to much professional theater you may enjoy this just don't pay Broadway prices $80-$100+! It is not Broadway quality I would say step up from Cruise show! If you can get half price and you don't want to see any other headliner its not bad.

I just adored this performance of Mamma Mia! The songs, familiar but superbly intertwined with the story. The acting was top notch, the singing punchy and vibrant, and we left the Theatre with a smile from a lovely storyline.

If you are visiting Vegas see this show, there's a bloody good reason why it's ran for nine years, it's superb.
