I had always been a big fan of Penn and Teller and was really looking forawrd to this show. I really liked the initial welcoming atmosphere of the pre-show. You could walk up on stage and examine a box that would be used later. There was great jazz entertainment in the pre-show period.

The welcoming environment ended quickly. I was well aware that they despise religion (especially Christianity), but I (foolishly perhaps) did not expect that hatred to be part of a show that I paid to see. The entire show was punctuated with his ridicule of Christianity and his ample use of blasphemies.

Skeptics and atheists will likely love the show. Penn clearly has the charisma to overcome the relatively mediocre magic tricks and I love the character Teller has created (a true homage to Harpo Marx).

But ultimately, none of this could overcome the ultimate feeling that as a Christian I was not welcome. I bought a ticket to be entertained, but instead I left the show feeling disappointed and hurt.

Love their "Bulls***" show on Showtime, so decided to see Penn & Teller in Vegas. Really enjoyed the show, which is truly a skeptic's delight: be warned that they are not afraid to skewer any sacred cows. This show resonated with me because I happen to agree with their obvious philosophy of not taking anything on sheer faith but rather requiring objective proof, and with their message of personal freedom - but don't get me wrong, this is NOT a show full of tiresome preaching, but is instead very entertaining and very funny as well. Lots of audience participation, low-key and relaxed. The guys are very approachable: the ticket mentioned "pre-show jazz" by a jazz duo; I was pleasantly surprised to find that half this duo (the other half being a pianist on digital piano) was Penn himself, unobtrusively playing stand-up bass in a corner of the stage and obviously enjoying himself, and also, Penn & Teller race out to the lobby at the end of the show to meet and sign autographs for the audience. Very entertaining, and as a bonus, ticket prices are less than for many other top hotel shows in town; definitely go if you enjoy Penn & Teller's brand of hip,. classy humor and showmanship.

We went to see Penn and Teller on Wednesday March 4, 2009. It was so cool, They ask for a volunteer and I raised my hand and was lucky enough to get on stage and do a trick with them, It was a scarf trick and I got to keep the prop at the end. I can't say enough about how cool it was. I was ear to ear smiles. This has been a long time dream of mine. If you like magic and Penn and teller you will love this show

First off, I need to say that I WAS a Penn and Teller fan before watching their show. I adored the mouth of Penn and the silence of Teller.

The problem I had with their show was it was NOTHING new. Imagine Penn's mouth going on and on for 30 mins as an introduction for his...(drumroll please) juggling broken bottles act. Hold on to your seats and gasp for air also as you watch Penn actually perform the spectacularly uncommon fire breathing act--I was waiting for a punch line, one never came.

I was deeply embarrassed to have recommended this show to my group. Please don't make the same mistake.

We saw Penn & Teller last week in Las Vegas. Their show was great. It was extremely entertaining, with a good mix of magic tricks and comedy. These guys are really good at what they do. We loved it.
