We wanted to make sure that we got a seat, so we called ahead and reserved a table - $15 per person, just to sit. Now, we did get there at 7:30, so we got a prime location - a table alone right behind one piano (and the AWESOME door guys made sure that no one stood in our view). Drinks are spendy, but we expected that. And remember that is will be LOUD!
There are 4 guys that rotate every hour starting at 8:00. The first 2 (Jerry Riedel and guest) spent the entire hour telling everyone that if they wanted a song to be played, there had to be at least $5 attached for each song. When people came up with less than $5 attached, they were very vocal that their song would be played when they came up with the 'rest of the money'. According to many websites, this is the 'way it's done' at a lot of piano bars. Unfortunately, the presentation was poor and this twosome came off as annoying instead of entertaining. Thankfully there was a rotation at 9:00 and Chris Nelson and guest hit the pianos. They were wonderful!! They played without demanding more money and really got the crowd going. It would appear that Jerry Riedel and Chris Nelson are the usual twosome tickling the ivories. My group thought they need to keep it that way and keep the guests out.

We have been to this bar 3 or 4 times on our Vegas visits, and have always had a great time just listening to the music, etc. When we were there this week, the first thing I noticed is that it was a slow crowd, and all the performers really wanted to do was try to get people to "fight it out" tipwise between country and rock music. So, no songs were REALLY getting sung, just pieces of songs. They were VERY obvious that they were going to sing the songs that had the biggest tips, and continously plugged that aspect. My son asked them to play "Piano Man", and they kept saying they were going to wait until the "pot went bigger, because that's a popular song and we only want to sing it once." What? How many times have I sat in that Bar and heard "Sweet Caroline" or "American Pie" several times? Anyway, after 3 hours, and no song, we got up and left, taking our tips with us. Too bad...guess I'll be giving the piano bar at the Paris a try next time.

During my annual Vegas trip always checking this bar. Music is good but is the public getting older every day. Were last year (2007) al lot of 25-45 people were present, average age was on January 8 around 50+. a Pitty because the players are great , teh athmosphere is fine but the girls are not as you will see in the video clip on the website...

Not what I expected. Small place with people crammed in.
I was expecting something classier. Pianists are alright,
but more wacky than refined. I ordered a perfect rye manhattan and a bourbon old fashioned and received some slop in a glass.
I thought it was free mid-week but we had to pay $5 each for entry. New York New York is worth a peek, but I definitely enjoyed
the Paris better, for example.

It's worth $10 for a seat to sit for an evening to watch wild & crazy girls sing along with the piano players. This was our 2nd time at the bar, and we weren't disappointed. There's no cover charge if you'd rather stand while you drink. Continual music. Some piano players sang better than others, but as the evening wore on no one seemed to care!
