Myself and 6 of my friends went to Voodoo on a Saturday night

We had pre-booked the OPEN BAR package for $100 before we left the UK as it makes economical sense in getting entry and all our drinks paid for on the busiest night of the week in Vegas. Its fantastic, just brought a roll of dollar bills for tips and we went to town on that free booze.

The view is absolutely breath-taking, outstanding.

I honestly cant think ive ever been in a nicer bar / club, it was just a brilliant brilliant night

Next time im back in Vegas i will 100% be back with the same deal, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, you will not be disappointed!!

Just come back from Vegas and this must be my highlight of the trip !!! Went there for a birthday celebration in a group of about 15 people and was not disappointed at all. Went for the $60 open bar and the group well and truely got there monies worth and the bartenders were very helpful . Part inside and part outside with a great view of the vegas strip is a must for any party person !!! Well recommended !!!

Went to the VooDoo lounge for some evening drinks and a good time. Overall the experience was awesome. The bartenders serve gigantic drinks with flair, and the view is simply amazing. As soon as you step out on the outside bar/dance area you immediately have a panoramic view of the entire las vegas strip and the surrounding desert (which is even better since you are over 50 floors above it!). We ended up going mid week, so the place wasn't exactly packed, but the mood was still pretty good! Wish I would have stayed longer. If I knew the bars down at the Palms were so terrible, I would have stayed all night and been quite content!

Oh, and make sure if you are at the RIO earlier in the day to ask the Concierge for passes. Often they will give you them for a small tip instead of paying cover at the door!

My friend and I visited the Voodoo Lounge last October on a Tuesday. We bought Open Bar passes in advance through the visitlasvegas site. When we got to the entrance at the bottom of the club about 11/11:3o, the guy wasn't particularly friendly. He only had one pass there for us and had to send a guy off to get another one and there was no apology for the hold-up, he just asked us to move out the way whilst we waited! There was no queue to get in at all, which was fantastic, although a real surprise!!

We walked in after getting the second wrist band and a glass lift takes you up to the club itself. It was really cool going up and the views were great - even lower down the building!

We walked in and got served really quickly. The bar staff were friendly. The club was not busy, but there were enough people for there to be an atmosphere. Outside the views really were breathtaking, although the VIP seating for table service is around the edge, so you cannot get THAT close - still, it didn't obscure the view too much at all - afterall, the people had paid to be sat down!! Lol. Inside there were a few people and plenty of seating, so that was really nice after being stood up for a while!! As for the music - it was very good from what I remember, but I don't remember ever being compelled to dance - but this is a very sociable place and more about mixing than dancing on your own and ignoring everyone around you.

We had a great night and within minutes of being there, we were approached by a group of really friendly Canadian guys who were on a 'divorce party'' week and spent the rest of the evening chatting to them - the time went so quick!!

Time flew by, and we were gutted when it closed at about 1:00/1:30am. We were all ready to party the night away! A group of about 10 of us all left together and ended up all chatting down in the casino for at least an hour, all of us were rather drunk. The plan was, was that we were all going to get a limo to somewhere else together, but we got too involved chatting and it never really came about!! It was so nice to meet people from all different parts of the world! We were advised that Palms was a good place to go afterwards, but after a 'shot' of Witchdoctor that the barman let me try for free (The famous Witchdoctor wasn't included in the Open Bar, obviously!!) I was a complete mess - it did not mix well with vodka, which is what I had stuck to all night!! If you have this cocktail, probably better to start off with it and gauge see how you are!!

So, all in all, a fantastic and very memorable night out. Only very small downers were the confusion getting in and the fact it seemed to close too early!

Had free tickets so we had to check out the VooDoo Lounge on top of the Rio. A must see. Music was great and the view was spectacular! Ask for free tickets at check in or ask for a Rio coupon book which has a free pass in it. If not you will pay $30 each to enter. dress code was not as strict as stated
