The Rio has hit the jackpot with the design of this nightclub. Absolutely amazing. Everything- the entrance, the drinks, the music, THE VIEW! Don't pay to go up in the Eiffel Tower at Paris for a view, get into VooDoo for free & dance the night away while getting the best view of Vegas. You can get free passes in advance but they were also handing out free passes when we first walked into the hotel. You can print them at riovegasnights.com or some people in our group ordered some off ebay. Drinks were $10 each, pretty much standard price anywhere we went. Later in the evening they had girls dancing on little platforms. One word of caution, don't try to sit on the seats outside, they are reserved for bottle service only. You can sit down inside if you need to get off your feet. My husband was really unsure about the whole Vegas club scene & this ended up being his favorite part of our whole trip. Don't try to walk, it's alot further than it seems!

10 of us visiting Las Vegas arranged bottle service at The Voodoo Lounge. It's a nightclub on the 51st floor of the Rio Hotel. Half of the club is indoors and half is outdoors. In the warmer months, you really must be outdoors, as the view is second to none. Bottle service is brilliant value. On our recent visit, they offered a number of 'specials' at around $160 per bottle. This is less than half what you would normally pay. Two bottles between 8-10 people makes a very good value night out. Hint - Our visit was in April, when the weather can be a it cooler, so be prepared for it if you visit in the cooler months. The club do however offer heaters.

Went there recently for a Bachelor Party. It was a saturday night and wasnt overly crowded when we got there but things picked up. Obviously it has a great view of the City. We got bottle service and had nice plush couches in the VIP area. We got 3 bottles for 8 guys the cost was about $75 per person which isnt too bad considering what you can pay at other Clubs.

While searching Google for places to visit, we came across the reviews here and decided to give VooDoo a go. After a little extra searching online (the Rio Hotel interactive site) we found a pair of VIP passes that included free entry and front of the line privlidges. I don't know if it's a temporary special deal and it looked like you can only do it once, but what a great value!

We showed up dressed to kill as we were ready to have a great time. As soon as we walked in, we knew we were in our kind of place. The music was a great balance of recognisable tunes from past and present, the DJ was not annoying, the other guests were packed in decently so it wasn't too empty or too full, and the atmosphere was PERFECT, especially when you combine the indoor and outdoor areas.

I noticed the drink prices were not cheap but don't kid yourself, drinks in EVERY Vegas club turned out to be high, so VooDoo really wasn't out of line if you compare apples to apples.

In the early evening the outside area was a bit cold due to the breeze but once we starrted dancing, we warmed right up. Also, later in the evening the breeze died off so it wasn't too bad when we finally got tired and started striking up new friendships.

We didn't find the employyes rude, they were just very busy taking care of so many people so they couldn't really pay any extra special attention to us. Don't feel slighted, it turned out to be the same at the other clubs as well. One thing was nice, the manager did ask how our night was going and when we said "GREAT", he said he was glad to hear it and shook our hands. Not super exciting, but hey, it was unexpected and nice. The club was clean and modern. The gogo dancers were fun to watch and dance with. The drinks were mixed well.

The only negative was seating was at a premium...it's definitly not a sit-down club for most, but I guess we just show our age when we're looking for a chair ;-) We did find a seat a couple of times but forget about having it held when you get up. Most later-hour seating turned into "reserved" seating where you have to tip a little better or something. Next trip, we'll find out...yes, we'll definitly be back!

To close the story off, we got off pretty cheap because of the passes BUT even if we don't score them next time, we'll be more than happy to pay the cover charge. The other clubs we went to (Studio 54, Coyote Ugly, Pussy Cat Dools Lounge) were expensive in comparison and didn't provide half the fun. Next time, we'll visit a few other clubs but for sure will keep VooDoo Lounge at the top of our list.

This place is awesome, after eating downstairs, we went up to Voodoo lounge and out onto the rooftop bar, WOW. Great view, great atmosphere and great music. We absoutely loved it. The best bar/club/lounge that I have ever been to.
