I am getting married 7-7-07 in the Bellagio Wedding Chapel and am starting to get nervous. I am not a very picky bride...in fact, Vegas appealed to us for its fun, layback atmosphere where I would not have to focus on every little detail. So what better hotel to have handle the details than my favorite one on the strip...The Bellagio.
We have booked a very large suite for the week, reserved a private room in their restaurant for a modest sized reception and are using only Bellagio vendors. Service has been seriously lacking in all departments, especially when dealing with our wedding planner. She has confused the facts, accidentally mixed up information from our file with the files of other couples and generally left us feeling uneasy. The wedding package we purchased (The Bellagio) is a nice package, but we are expecting a bit more customer service considering
the cost.
Our wedding cake must be purchased in-house from Jean Philippe's and service there seems poor as well. Since requesting a tasting or meeting with their coordinator 3 days ago, she has yet to get back to me. Not a single person is willing to work with us in terms of making us feel like pappered guests.
I understand that there are high rollers who drop what we will spend altogher in one hand of Blackjack, but we should count for something too. The impression the Bellagio staff is leaving with us and the 50++ guests that will attend my wedding will resinate with more people than one person sitting at a Blackjack table.
