I apologise in advance for the length of this review, but im sure that any bride to be will find it helpful.
We have just returned from our week long visit to the Bellagio, where 20 guests joined us for our spectacular wedding on the Terrace. We began planning our wedding in October 2007 with the help of our wedding planner Sandra. We dealt with her throughout all the organising and she kept in regular contact via email. She was always reassuring and treat the wedding as if it were her own, taking care of all the arrangements including music, flowers and salon appointments.
We arrived at the Bellagio to find we had been upgraded to a Lakeview room which was stunning, we had stayed at the bellagio 3 years previously and the rooms were just as beautiful as we remembered.
On the day of the wedding all the ladies went to the salon to have our hair and makeup done. We were spoilt rotten and enjoyed a couple of hours of being pampered with champagne to boot. The salon staff did an amazing job and were a big part in making our day so special.
When the time finally came to go to the Terrace, Sandra was waiting for me and my dad and talked through the proceedings, and offering a stiff drink for my nerves. We were apprehensive as we had organised the whole thing via email, although thoroughly informed we didnt know quite what to expect. I have to say that the whole experience superceeded anything beyond my wildest dreams. As i walked out onto the terrace and looked around all the familiar faces and the amazing setting i was comletely overwhelmed. It was the most romantic and moving setting I have ever encountered and doubt i will ever again. The service was perfect and the fountains were timed perfectly for our first kiss. We were very impressed with the photographer throughout the afternoon and the pictures were not only amazing, but ready the next day. The videographer was so discreet i didnt even remember seeing him. I would advise anyone who gets married here to do the following
* Trust completely in your planner, they are there to help and to ensure the smooth running of your day.
* Use the Salon for hair and make up, i had the works at a cost of $250 dollars, a damn lot cheaper than the UK
* After seeing both the chapels and terrace i would book the terrace even given the extra cost. Its unique, elegant and completely secluded and the perfect setting for beautiful wedding pictures.
*And lastly enjoy and savor every second, it goes by so quickly, it was an experience my husband and i will never forget.
