My husband and I were married at Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel on 23rd November 2008 (which was also his birthday) and I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Having done much research we opted for Mon Bel Ami because it was small (there was only the 2 of us) and very pretty. Edith, our wedding co-ordinator was very helpful and quick to reply to any emails we sent. We popped in the day before for a quick peak and to check the final arrangements. We opted for the exquisite package as we wanted candlelight , the keepsake unity candle and internet (which we upgraded for 30 days and just paid the difference). The people were lovely and looked after us extremely well. The only slight glitch was I had ordered red roses & got white but they were so nice anyway it really wasn't a big deal to me. The ceremony was one to remember and perfect for us. George, the photographer was brilliant. I had read many reviews saying the photos took so long but with us he was very quick & professional. He ended up taking 148 photos. We knew from other reviews we were going to get the sales pitch & had decided beforehand we would spend around $250. We got the spiel about how much they would normally cost etc etc (around $1000) and at the end we were offered the lot for $350 or $300 cash. Well, they were so good we paid cash and are very happy with them. It was suggested to us that we needed the limo for 2hours but I thought that was a waste having it wait outside for an hour and a half so we made our own way there and the limo picked us up on time afterwards. Tom was very pleasant but we asked him if we could stop at the Bellagio fountains and the Las Vegas sign for a photo. He said an hour wasn't long enough to do both (I'm sure it is) so we opted for the Vegas sign but when we got there we couldn't stop due to roadworks (I think he knew that all ready) so we just went back to our hotel and the whole trip was only half an hour! We stayed at The Hotel, Mandalay Bay and were upgraded to The Penthouse & ate dinner in The Mix restaurant the night we got married and it was amazing, the whole evening was wonderful.

My husband and I were married there on November 15, 2008 and the chapel was small and beautiful, just as the pictures on the internet show. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the minister was fantastic. The entire ceremony exceeded my expectations for a Las Vegas wedding, HOWEVER...the next day I went back to review our pictures as we were entitled to 8 with our package. They were very good and I didn't blink an eye when the owner asked for $600 for all of the negatives. I didn't think that was a lot for 134 professional photos. I paid them right away and they gave me my CD and I went back to my hotel room. I decided to go to the hotel computer and look at them when I got back to discover that they gave me someone else's photos. I phoned right away and spoke to Dave (the guy who burns the CDs) and he said he would deliver my CD to me that night to my hotel as we were leaving the next day for home. I phoned back and asked him a time and he assured me that he would deliver them between 8pm & 9pm that evening. I called down to the Bell desk at 10pm no photos. I inquired at both the bell desk and the main desk the next morning before going to the aiport and nothing was left for me. I called Mon Bel Ami right away and left a message for them explaining what had happened. We went ahead and flew home and by 4pm they had still not returned my call. I called and spoke to Jennifer and explained my situation, she put me on hold for 5 1/2 minutes(calling long distance on a cell phone). I hung up and called back and this time got Edith who was nothing but rude to me. She even said to me " If you would stop talking I will explain something to you" She told me that the person I needed to speak to (David) was busy for another 5 minutes so I was to call back. No apology for their mistake. I asked to speak to the owner but of course she was unavailable. My husband then called back and spoke to Edith and by this time they had decided they would courier our cd to us. They told us it would arrive on Wednesday and I was quite concerned when it didn't arrive but it did come on Thursday so all's well that ends well. I am not upset at the mistake they made of giving me someone elses photos, what I am really upset about is the fact that they told me that they would deliver them to me at my hotel and they didn't and then when I called back to resolve the problem that they had created I was treated in a very unprofessional rude manner. I realize that they probably don't count on a lot of repeat business but they should realize that word of mouth is the best advertising.

I just got married there last week and was completely satisfied with everything. I had nothing to stress about once I was there.
The trip to Vegas was such a disaster that I was sure the wedding would be too. Our flights were cancelled two times, we arrived in Vegas a day late, our rental car was not reserved, and I was seriously about to lose it. I called Mon Bel Ami at least 10 times to let them know what was happening. The staff was so understanding. They were able to reschedule my wedding so that I wouldn't feel rushed.
When we got there, I couldn't help but be calm. Everyone was like instant family to me. The chaple was so beautiful! The photography was awesome. Very professional! I had to buy the entire photo package. I felt like a princess!
I would definitely recommend Mon Bel Ami to anyone!

Lack of communication was the number one issue here. I enquired about booking this chapel from Australia and after a few emails I booked the chapel for Sunday 21/9 and paid the required deposit. From that point I received no further communication from any chapel staff, even after requesting a receipt for the deposit, nothing. Until... the day of our wedding booking when they called to confirm our pick up time. I'm not sure how they thought they could provide us with our dream wedding when they didn't know a single detail about how we wanted to do it! Joyfully, the night before, we were married at The Chapel of the Flowers, which we had booked when we lost confidence in Mon Bel Ami. It was worth losing our deposit to know we were in better hands. When we finally did get hold of them they offered no apology or compensation, and even clarified that we wouldn't be getting our deposit back.

Every single wedding is a special event - and if you're playing a part in that then you should take your role very seriously. There are plenty of chapels to choose from in Vegas and many can provide you with a wonderfully romantic, special experience. Please see my review for The Chapel of the Flowers... :)
