Stayed at TI where this resturant is located. Needed Mexican food on Thursday March 22, 2007. Made reservations for 6 of us . The front bar always looked busy and they had a great selection of Tequila . Staff brought out two dishes of complementary appitisers that consisted of home made taco chips with three types of salsa that was very good. The "book" of tequila avialable was huge but the fella looking after us took time to explain each different type and then told us in detail what each meal consisted of and how it was made.
We all got shots of Cabo Waco in honour of Sammy Haggar except one of us, but when the waiter brought the drinks out he said " awe looks like the bar tender gave us one to many, so she'll have to drink it after all" (we were not charged for the shot which was about 2 oz in a high shooter glass ) The house special Margareta was great I had two.
The presentation of the food was something you would expected in a higher priced resturant and was very appleaing. The staff talked and kidded with you. which we found was normal in Vegas ( I'm sure talk + food = tips)
We would recommend this resturant

Great food, prices very reasonable, good service and interesting presentation of food. WE love mexican and we were impressed! Best Margaritta on the strip, no joke...Serious.

We didn't plan on eating here but had a food credit from Treasure Island for a package we booked. WOW....we ordered one plate to split (flautas) and then we ordered guacamole and queso fundido. The queso fundido was a little thicker than I though it would be. I was expecting more of a dip but it was served with flour tortillas...regardless...very good. I had it with chorizo. I only ate one because it was a little heavy. The quacamole, though expensive, was totally worth it. It was prepared exactly the way I would prepare it...along with the chips. I make my own chips at home and these were EXACTLY as I make them....so, so very good. Wanted to eat here again but just didn't have time. Splurged on a mojito with dinner...one of the best I have ever had. If visiting Treasure Island and you love Mexican, this is a must!
