We went to Ellis Island Restaurant Nov. 17th, 2008 around 3:30 pm. because we had seen the advertisement online before we went to Vegas. No lines, pretty empty at that time which is great. We was too early for the BBQ specials but got the Steak Special. Since I like mine Well done it came out very tough and Dry. My Husband likes his medium and he was quite pleased with his. The salad was just lettuce and maybe a tomato which should be against the law. lol
It's out of the way if you have to walk, but good prices. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. I wouldn't go back but I'm sure my Husband would.

My wife and I went here for the cheap food and what a treat, they had $1 microbrews that were very tasty. Beware of really drunk old men who are there only for the cheap beer unless your 6'5 235 like me. Otherwise, the good food and great beer at bargain prices make it worth the trip.

Ask for the steak special, it's only $7, but it's not on the menu. The steak was great, not some flat little piece of beef you'd get at Denny's. This was a hunk of flesh an inch and half thick, cooked perfectly. The sides were all unexpectedly flavorful as well. And don't forget the microbrew pint that's included. Sweet deal.

Not a bad place to get a fairly good meal at a descent price. Had the steak special for $7. Sirlion, potato, beans, and salad. Nice size steak too.
Had to wait about 45 min. for a table for 6 people however. This was at 6 PM though. Had the casino right there so that was one way to pass the time.
