We visited Freemont Street late one afternoon and were looking for a place to have a quick bite. We saw a $6.99 Prime Rib dinner advertised at the Golden Gate and decided to give it a try. We arrived at dinner time, but didn't have to wait long for a seat.
I ordered the Prime Rib and my fiancé got the spaghetti and meatballs ($4.99). Service was ok and we didn't have to wait too long for
The prime rib was good although a little fatty and came with boiled vegetables and a baked potato. Toppings included horse radish and au jus for the prime rib and sour cream & chives for the potato.
The spaghetti was average but had a bit of water in the bottom of the bowl like the pasta hadn't been drained completely. It came with bread that was toasted but not that flavorful.
Good place for cheap eats. The food is as good as you could expect for the price and would be perfect for anyone looking for a value meal.
