My partner and I just returned from our second stay at Wynn Las Vegas, and we continue to be amazed! Having stayed at The Venetian on several occasions, we both agree this hotel is miles ahead of the rest of the luxury resorts on the Strip.

Our recommendation? Book a Tower Room in the Tower Suites for just a few bucks more than a stanard room, and you'll have access to the private VIP entrance to the hotel without paying the suite prices (there I go again giving away all my secrets!).

Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, and ours overlooked the beautiful $500-a-round golf course. Room amenities include electric drapes, two plasma televisions (including one in the bathroom!), and supremely comfortable king-sized beds.

The hotel staff treated us like royalty, and the casino was exceptional in providing comps (free buffets, food and drinks) for even us nickel and penny slot players. Slots paid better than most strip hotel casinos for the second year in a row.

Be sure to try the Wynn's apple martini in the Parasol bars, a unique recipe that's as smooth as silk!

Wynn Las Vegas boasts some of the most impressive restaurants in the city, but you'll pay for the pleasure. For the most part, we ate at the delicious buffet (on the house!) and at Red 8, a mid-priced Asian-food restaurant that's quite outstanding as well.

Be sure to rent a car while you're here -- the Wynn is not mid-strip --so you'll want to get out and see everything.Or, if you're so inclined, you can always buy a Ferrari from the Ferrari/Lamborghini dealership at the hotel!

In summary, you'll feel like a WINNER at the Wynn--even if you're not! ;-)

My husband and I stayed in a one bdrm Parlor Suite in the Tower Suites (815) for 3 nights in February. It was my 1st trip to Vegas but my husband is a veteran. We were with a General Motors group that paid for our room - we spent an extra $200/night to upgrade to the Tower Suites - and it was worth it even though we didn't spend much time in the suite. One thing I didn't realize before we checked in is that the Tower Suites are not in a separate Tower - they are simply the rooms and suites in the southern part of the Wynn tower that are accessed through a private entrance and elevators. There is a door (only accessible with Tower Suite keys) on each floor that goes to the regular rooms down the hall. The service and access to the VIP pools made it really worth it for us. We had a large foyer with bar, half bath, large living room with mirrored ceiling and chic furnishings. Flat screens in living room, bedroom, and small one in bathroom. HUGE bathroom - walk in closet with dresser, jetted tub... everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel. I would have liked a higher floor. Our view of the strip and mountains was ok but the spot lights on the Wynn were not far below and shined too bright.
Bottom line-if you have extra money to spend and you want VIP service it's worth it . Friends of ours on the trip were perfectly happy with their standard room. The concensus with our group is that the Wynn feels more exclusive than the Bellagio or Venetian but everyone was split on what rooms are the best. Here's info on the property...
SW Steakhouse-Highly recommend - the light show on the waterfall is a must see - it's wild!
Tryst Nightclub-We had a special event there so I'm not sure what the "normal" crowd is like but visually it was amazing. Lots of private booths and areas.
Lure Ultralounge-Went on a slow night and a bit early (11pm). They had every seating area inside marked reserved so we had to sit our on the small courtyard. Guess the crowd arrives later.
Pools - Everything is better at the VIP pools - food menu is from Tableau Restaurant in the Tower Suites lobby (the other pools have a ridiculously small menu), they bring water and fruit to you (free) and it's super quick to get back up to your Tower Suite room (unlike treking from the regular pools to the main lobby).
The Spa & Salon - One of the most serene spas I've been to (Four Seasons Hualalai is the best I think). Like in our room they thought of everything in the locker room/wet rooms. If you expect 5 star service (and the price) you won't be disappointed.
I had an incredible pedicure & my hair styled at the salon too.
I loved the quick walk to the Fashion Show mall. We also took the 10-15 minute walk down to Ceasar's.
The construction noise next door for the Venetian's new tower was a little annoying (we were on the end of the building on that side).

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Wynn. Having been to Las Vegas 30+ times, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel.

The Good. The check-in was fast and efficient although it was on a busy Friday (no line). I was disappointed to learn that they did not have any two queen bed rooms but the problem was solved when the front desk upgraded us to a higher floor corner room w/ a roll away bed. The room was great with a huge tub in the bathroom. The Buffet was also excellent as was the Le Reve show.

The Bad. I really enjoyed my stay but I do have a few observations that management could address. The crib we asked for and received was the same standard (read cheap) crib loaned out at other hotels (although it comes with travel baby products which was a nice touch). I think Four Points had the same crib. Given that even Sheraton has "heavenly" cribs, the Wynn missed an opportunity to impress. The pool area was also really small relative to the size of the resort and there are not enough chairs to go around.

Would I go back? In a heart beat.

SUPERIOR!!!! This was the most amazing place we have ever stayed. Worth every penny. I felt like royalty from the second I stepped out of the car to the bitter end of our trip. Floor to ceiling beauty everywhere you look. Sumptuious food, fantastic service, gorgeous rooms and amenities like I've never experienced before. Too many wonderful aspects to mention. The only thing better than the Wynn itself was the show. La Reve. Truly amazing. The entire stay including the entertainment left me breathless. And Mr. Concierge you weren't so bad yourself. I can't wait to go back. WELL DONE.

Believe all of the hype, believe all of the advertising....from the minute you're approached by the bell man outside until check out several days later, every employee is dedicated to making your stay a pleasant one.

Mission Based: Steve Wynn gave every dealer a $1500 bonus on his birthday a few weeks ago.....happy employees create an atmosphere for happy guests.

I've stayed in hundreds of upscale hotels and Wynn's tops them all.
