We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our Honeymoon. The Hotel was by far the best i have ever stayed in. We were upgraded to a room on the corner of the hotel so we had floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides of the room looking out over the golf course. The rooms are huge! With the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The bathroom again is huge with a TV by the sink. An a shower that could fit a small family. We ate in the hotel every night and the standard of food was exceptional. Yes some things are pricy but you get what you pay for and we got fabulous service, beautiful surroundings, and first class food & drink. The pool area is wonderful, with free water a lovely big uncrowded pool, and water mist jets spraying out all around the pool to cool the air down. You can even gamble by the pool! The Casino we found to be the most tasteful in Vegas, we visited most of the other hotels and found them to be quite dated and in need of a facelift. The nightclub Tryst was amazing with a huge waterfall in the outdoor area. Everything about this hotel is first class, I could not pick a single fault with it.

We did not have one thing to complain about - well except that we should have stayed longer!! Room rate was great so we had a chance to experience this otherwise pricey hotel - service/staff couldn't have been more courteous or helpful - room was beautiful. We also stayed in a "smoking optional" although we requested non-smoking - and we found that it didn't have a smokey smell at all...they had offered to move us the next day but we didn't need to. Pool was just beautiful - we had no trouble getting seats except for one day and seemed to find waitresses without a problem. Having water & ice available was a treat! All-in-all a great experience - no matter who you walked by - everyone always had a "hello" or a smile to greet you.

My wife and I spent 7 days at the Wynn. We had booked our trip through Northwest Travel Vacations, and we had decided to book a Tower Suite because it was our honeymoon.

We landed and took a taxi to the Wynn, we told the taxi we were at the Wynn at the tower suites. As soon as we pulled in, the wonderful frills of being a tower suite guest shined.

Tower Suites has a private entrance as well as dedicated bellman and doorman. As soon as we pulled in, our bags were taken and we were escorted to the Tower Suite Area, The welcome area was beautiful! We got into the Tower Suite and walked right up to an agent. We told them it was our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a Parlor Suite.

Parlor Suite was wonderful. 2 Bathrooms, Living Room, Tub with Jets, glass shower, floor to ceiling windows. 3 Flatscreen Televisions.

I was a little nervous about possible sounds which I have read about coming from the club or pool, I can honestly say we didn't hear anything.

This was possibly the best hotel in which I have ever stayed in.

We booked our Wynn weekend thru Expedia and got a great deal - $800 for our flights (from Minneapolis) + 2 nights at the Wynn + $100 resort credit.

Thru Expedia we had booked a Non Smoking King Room. I had read in some other reviews how time consuming and confusing the check-in process was. I agree 100%! I think it took us over 30 minutes to check in - and there weren't even that many people ahead of us in line. I was prepared for that frustration. What I wasn't prepared for was the check-in gal to tell us that they had us down for 2 Double Beds. Um, no. I showed her my printed out confirmation from Expedia - she told me "Sorry, they have you down for a Double Room". She asked if that would be okay and I told her no. She said the best they could do was put us into a "Smoking Optional King Room". We went with that and ended up in room 5059 (which didn't smell like smoke, thankfully!). Our view was of the strip and it was amazing all lit up!

We did give the Sunday Champagne Brunch a try. I'm glad we did it, but I don't think I'd go again. It was neat to see, but I don't think it was totally worth the price.

Parasol Up was a fun place to hang out. Even on a Saturday night around 1am it was easy to find a couch/table to sit and relax.

Pros: nice big room; comfy bed; remote controlled curtains; taxi stand was easy to find & even when there was a long line it went quickly

Cons: check-in process; the bathroom tv remote was broken and because there were no buttons on the TV itself, you could only watch 1 channel and the volume was turned up quite a bit; my husband went to get ice out of the ice machine and there was vomit in there (I'm not kidding) - he called housekeeping to inform them but when we left 40 minutes later it was still there ...

Encore had open about 6 weeks prior to us arriving. Although I liked the Wynn, I think I'd try the Encore next time.

The Wynn provides a comfortable atmosphere that sets it apart from the other casinos. I can't put a finger on exactly why but it's just different and quite enjoyable.

The rooms are well decorated, appointed, with comfortable beds and roomy bathrooms.
The pool area, especially back in the adults only are, is peaceful.
The spa is fabulous.
Restaurants and buffet were all great (Bartolotta, Okada, Terrace Pointe, SW, Buffet).
The casino is roomy and is not smokey and the poker room is smoke free. The sportsbook is fun and has comfortable seating to watch a game or play the ponies.
My only complaint is that I didn't win more money!
