I really appreciate the hard work the preformers put into maintaining their looks and acts....however...as many have stated..the biggest disappointment is the threater. The seating is truely horrible and not viewer friendly....

Preferred Seating: What preferred seating...we paid extra money to get preferred seating (not vip..that was different) to the show..that was a huge huge mistake...you wait in the same line as the general admission people...and then you go in the same time as they do....then when you are seated, you are put in the row in a chair behind ladies with 80's high hair...and the seats are not raised above the row in front of you.....so you can't see much... and then, the people with the general get to sit in the curved raised booths with tables behind you....lovely...

I felt it would have been nice if you could have had your picture taken with some of the preformers after the show...they could have even make money off of it by charging like $5 for a polaroid to help get them a new theater...the only one that I saw that you were allowed to take a picture with was Joan.

All in all the show was good...if you could see it through the hair...

If you like Drag shows..I hope you saw Roseanne when she was in Vegas...her show was great...and her opening act Jackie was also great... Jackie (Drag Queen B)

My partner and I first saw the show in September 06 and while the show was very entertaining with some amazing impersonators (Britney Spears is like a double!), the show was let down by the extreemley poor "VIP" seating and terrible backup dancers.

My partner wanted to come back to Vegas this year as our last long haul holiday (from the UK), and he insisted on going back (im writing this a few hours after the show). We both came away feeling very let down...Why?...Because nothing has changed in the last year!

The terrible "VIP" seating is still the same conference chairs and at $79 a piece its rediculous! Frank Marino has not changed any of his routene with the same jokes about Britney Spears injuring her knee last year but she's spending the last year on them and yet Britney's injury was two years ago. Then he mentions his part in the movie Miss Congeniality 2 last year, again the movie was two years ago!

Some of the impressionists are amazing such as Cher, Reba McEntire, the amazing Britney Spears who i swear must be her twin sister and the finale "What Makes A Man".

The backup dancers though are another story, i swear they must be the cast offs from every other show - they really are terrible. What confuses me though is why they use female backup dancers when this is a drag show!

Last year i bought the DVD but when we watched it i swear it has been filmed by somebody's phone camera with it going in and out of focus, zooming in and out inapropriately and the sound cutting out. This year i bought the programme book as i really wanted to see the guy who plays Britney without the makeup, only to find he isnt in there. I would be pissed if i were him, i mean he's been doing his thing every night for atleast the last year and yet Frank Marino clearly hasnt updated the programme to include him which i think is out of order.

At the end of the show, Frank stated that this was his 22nd anniversary of the show so you'd think in those 22 years with the money the show makes that he would update his material, the programme and the DVD. The DVD is $20 so for God sake get someone professional in to film is!!

This time also there were two acts missing, Jennifer Lopez and someone else who i cant remember right now. This made the show last only an hour and 10 minutes instead of the full hour and a half.

Q. Would i go back again and would i recommend the show?
A. If they cut their prices, provided quality seating for "VIP" tickets and if Frank Marino spent a little less time working on his nails and a little more time updating his material then YES but, as it currently is i would only recommend it if you can get a huge discount on the tickets.

My wife and I seen La Cage in July of '06. We bought our tickets from the 1/2 ticket booth located next door to the Riveria. The show itself was funny and very entertaining but I would not recommend paying full-price for the show.

The theater itself was old looking and the seating arrangements and seats were just horrible. You would think for the amount of $$$ that they ask for the show that the seats would be more than just conference chairs and the theater more classy.

However, don't forget, the Riveria is an older hotel on the strip for some 50 years ?

Go to the show just don't pay full price for the tickets. Check out the 1/2 price ticket booth and maybe you can get a deal there.

We got the show tickets ½ price , you can pick the tickets up the day of the show for ½ price. (located at both ends of the strip). We thought the jokes were good, and Joan Rivers was very entertaining, but some of the entertainers did not lip sink very well. We enjoyed the show, but the seating in the Riviara was very poor, and the theater was extremely small.

This show is hilarious---well worth the money. You can also get good discounts on tickets if you have an Entertainment membership. Very, very talented performers----fantastic show. These guys really put on a show!! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the theater and the wait staff. The seating was not great and not really done fairly. Better seats were left empty. It didn't really matter if you were there early---others were put in line in front of you. But, don't let that stop you from going---the show itself was great!!
